Excellent fresh food with a stunning waterside sea view

Stopped at Nissaki as part of a half-day boat trip from Gouvia. Had a lovely drink in the day time here and we returned to celebrate a friends birthday, had a lovely seat right at the end of the restaurant, amazing funny waiter ,lovely food. I had melt in the mouth steak and very good value for money, would recommend a little walk along the coast for all staying in Sunshine Spa... More

Built out over the rocks beside Nissaki's little pebble beach, the tables all have a lovely view over the bay. We received a very warm welcome from the diminutive lady proprietor and good friendly service from her staff. It was a hot day so we decided on a lunch of several starters, rather than big main courses, which we shared... More

Been here twice now. Fab location. Food ok. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO don't ask for the WiFi password. They are not in the 21st century yet and you will be ridiculed! Then given a sermon on the Greek economy. All I wanted to do was check on how my kids were.

Went for lunch one day. Fairly busy but waiting time acceptable. The taverna is right next to the beach and the beach gets busy. I had a pizza capriccio and it was quite big. I managed to finish it though while sipping white wine.

We went to the Mitso Taverna for lunch, the service was very quick and friendly. The fresh sardines were lovely and along with a good greek salad the wine and beer combined with a view to die for , we would definitely return

The location is on a perfect little stone beach. It is very calm and ideal for kids and snorkelling whilst the parents sup a Mythos. The food is normal Greek fayre. The proprietors remember us each year. Access by foot is either down the steep road or an even steeper footpath as is normal on this part of the coast.... More

We last visited two years ago, and on our return were as delighted as on our first visit. The food exceeded our expectations, and as the location is the most beautiful you can imagine, our evening was sublime. Cannot enthuse any more. Thank you 😊

We had a superb home cooked meal sitting right by the sea, watching the sun go down as we ate. It was idyllic.
