We ate here on two occasions and had some of the best food I have had in Greece for a few years. Service was good and the dolphins passed on the first time just as we sat down. Couldn't have been any better

The experience of buying two Nescafe coffees was enough for us not to want to go there again. At the request of preparing them with milk instead of water I was told I could only have this for a euro extra per coffee. I.e. the price of a pack of milk per coffee. That took the price from €2.50 (already... More

We ate here most often as there's no a better place for a lazy late afternoon lunch with the great view of the sea and the light breeze caressing your skin after the hot Mediterranean sun. The food was always good, whatever we tasted – and we tried to order something new every time. Especially we liked the grilled prawns,... More

We called in to Mitsos on our last day in Corfu, just to say hello to 'Mama' Mitsos. We would normally eat here regularly on our holidays but this year we arrived earlier than usual and the taverna was closed. Whilst we only had coffee this lovely taverna has been decorated and cleaned (toilets spotless) and we hope that Mitsos... More

Lovely tavern right on the tiny Nissaki beach. Modern decking but an authentic feel to it. Usual good Greek fare on offer. Great point is that at the end of season when wasps are everywhere, they put a smoke pot on your table to keep the wee things at bay. Nice touch. Toilets are the only thing that bring this... More

Often people complain about the wasps, ask the waiter for the burning coffee, it repels the wasps really well... Tavern is right above the sea, with fantastic views whichever way you look. All fish and calamari dishes as well as fresh salads are heavenly...

Lovely older Lady runs this but her son seems to be disinterested and when we visited abrupt! The other 2 Tavernas on the front at Nissaki are very good so use them!!

Definitely worth a visit even if it's only for the amazing views and atmosphere... The food is good, perhaps a little overpriced. Better tavernas around but no better locations!!!!

Where to start, the taverna has been open since 1955 and I suggest that was the last time it was cleaned.Thought I would go to the toilet and wash my hands before we ordered,BIG mistake the toilet was full of excrement, flush didn't work,no water to wash your hands and no towel.Drinks were served in dirty glasses and dirty cups, other cutlery... Each time we've been to Corfu we have eaten here. Admittedly the food isn't the best you can find on the island, but it's pretty average and edible, but the setting is stunning and the lady who runs the taverna with her sons (although they don't seem to do very much!) is delightful. We last ate here on Thursday 19th... More
