We ate here tonight and i can't stop thinking about how delicious dinner was. I am not from this area, so it was a little different for me. The room was so cute with rounded ceiling, frescoes and interesting objects. The waitresses were nice and wore traditional (like sound of music) clothes. The beer, bread, smoked trout, pasta pastets, gulash... More

Lovely food and children friendly. We can on a Monday and it was full. Food and menu perfect. The owners daughter was particularly friendly. Very nice chatty girl and made me a lovely English coffee!!! Thank you. Our boys were being a bit of a handful, but they were great. Very warm family welcome. Little toys for Children to play... We were in Dobbiaco in a rainy day and we found this fantastic restaurant. Nice food and wine in an authentic tyrolean restaurant. I do not understand some negative reviews as we were greeted in a very nice way and the daughter of the owners and the owner had a nice chat with us. Food is fantastic we had risotto... More

We fiund this place by chance in a off-season day when most restaurants and hotels in the region were closed. At first, we were skeptical since the signs heavily advertised "local good". But we found it excellent. The food was fresh, well cooked and with an inspired touch. The service was very friendly and careful in all aspects. The price... More

As a regular visitor to Dobbiaco/Toblach I always pop in to this restaurant, usually for dinner but sometimes for lunch. The food is very good (not excellent) and the prices reasonable. It is popular with the locals and over the last few years they've started to keep a couple of menus in English as its popularity grows with tourists. The... More

We only went for a drink but its a very cool place compared to others in the area, this one isn't full of odd dolls and animal heads.

We purposefully asked for a recommendation for Austrian/German food and were directed to Winklekeller. Since Dobbiaco (Toblach) is in Italy we probably shouldn't have been surprised by the Italian influence on the menu. Still, we enjoyed the meal, including the lasagna! A special word about the vino sfuzo on offer - GREAT! We had a liter of the Lagrien for... More

Frankly speaking, the place is nice and the atmosphere is absolutely coherent with the location, but they do not have any idea about how to make the customer feel comfortable. Even if from the booking we had exactly clarified that we'd be there not before 9,30 p.m. due to the Half Marathon Run, and they've accepted our request, even if... More
