Good food, big portions

We had a night with some overseas visitors. We all had nice meals but didn't realise the portions were so big. Some of us didn't have such big appetites so could have shared some of the meals. It would have been nice to have been warned. We had been here for lunch before and always enjoyed the... read more

Great coffee, great food served with the usual turkish warmth. It's not the smartest cafe but the offerings are delicious and reasonably priced.

Went here recently with a friend for dinner. The menu is good with plenty to choose from. Pricing is also reasonable. The food lacks a bit of flavour I thought. Would go again but wouldn't be my top pick.

Lunched here again. We dine here quite often, lunch or dinner. The food is great. Portions are a good size. Tried the gourmet lamb burger this time, and was very nice. Great variety. Usually have the wrap deal for takeaways and is good value and very filling. Great service. Would probably dine in or do a takeaway at least once... More

Popped in on New Year's day as most of Pukekohe was otherwise closed. Atmosphere was great and the service was good, lunch was under $50; consisting of two ample mains and drinks. The quality of the food was spot on, no complaints! I've read some of the other reviews and whilst not discounting them, the experiences they've had were certainly... More

Many moons ago my mother used to say that restaurants kept their lights low so that one couldn't see the food. If that's true then I can only fear for this restaurant. The food is of gargantuan size and so so quality but adequate and not too expensive, I think the other reviewer got it right when he said "... More

A few friends and I had lunch here yesterday, and we all felt very unwelcome. We are high school students, and we believe that might be the reason why. It shouldn't be this way, as we are all paying customers and we did not act rudely to any customer or employee. The food was satisfactory, yet one of my friends... More

No risk taking going on here, stock standard Turkish fare, meat, salads, rice, breads, and dips with the meal we purchased all having the same elements presented slightly differently. Nothing wrong with what we got, good basic food but nothing to wrote home about. Nice friendly service. Would return to try the pizza menu.Would like to see some other main options on the menu,... We had a great dinner at Paasha. My husband and I had dinner on a weeknight, so the restaurant was fairly quiet. The service was good - polite and quick. I also have allergies and they were great in that they checked with the kitchen for the dish I ordered and confirmed with me again when they brought the dish... More

I have been to Paasha on various occasions and on each occasion, the experience has been ruined slightly by the service received there. The waiters come across bored and somewhat annoyed and react rudely whenever I ask for something as simple as water for the table. The lighting is nice at first, but after numerous visits, it gets annoying and... More
