Brilliant food as usual even though it was a very busy day. Amazing how they get your food to you despite the crowds outside. Great open crab sandwiches.

It is a place with a nice view overlooking the moorings. It is run by the friendliest business owner who runs the pub as well as the local general store right next door. You can sit indoors or outdoors. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. They serve drinks of all kinds featuring beer of course. You can ask for simple... More

You will not find a more perfect spot to stop, relax and have a bite of lunch. The best chowder around and absolutely delicious fresh crab sandwiches. Sit outside on the pier and enjoy the friendly service.....

We are lucky enough to visit West Cork almost every year and one of our favourite (and regular) lunch stops has become O'Sullivan's Bar. We normally visit in January - so the cosy coal fire is very welcome, but another important aspect of our visit is the warmth of the welcome from the people who run the bar as well;... More

On a recent visit to Crookhaven we stopped of for an evening drink, a traditinal Irish pub with a pool table. I enjoyed a lovely pint of Guinness served by a very pleasant member of staff. It wasn't too expensive either I seem to remember!

The food is great here, one of the many great places to eat on the Peninsula. My main attraction to this bar though is for the Sunday evenings in the summer. We always eat here for both our lunch and dinner but it's the night life we travel for after a few swims off the pier (crystal clear water) for... More

We came upon this little treasure by accident and what a great pub lunch we had. Lovely shell fish. All the fish is sourced locally how refreshing to be able to get away from the frozen fish restaurant. On our next trip we will tarry awhile on the Mizen peninsula.
