Best to visit for sunset or sunrise

The venue, while themed as a park is quite average and small, but it does offer stunning views of Melbourne and its surrounds on a clear day. I would especially visit later in the day for the sunset which is stunning.

Lovely views to enjoy a coffee but bloody rip off that it costs $6 just to park your car. Only stopped there for coffee and it doubles the cost by paying the carpark... Seriously, I think a time limit for free visiting would get more people to come. Won't be back for a coffee, that's for sure.

Recently visited Skyhigh for 90th Birthday "High Tea". Wonderful! Family member from UK thought the whole experience fantastic, including the drive up the mountain and then the views. Afternoon tea reasonably priced per head and selection of food on each table delicious. We go here time and time again. Not to be missed!

Worst service I have experienced in a long time, had to keep asking for water and drinks, food must have been under the lights for quite a while , very low standard and high prices . Won't go back again .

We booked a week ahead to try and secure a window seat with a view to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We did so online and I was able to note that we were celebrating our special occasion, but no guarantee of a window seat. Online booking was easy via their website and a confirmation email was received. Turning up on... More

Had a family dinner recently and from the word go felt like maybe we should've gone elsewhere. Had to go to the bar to ask if we had to self serve water and was told that we would be given table service which didnt happen for another ten minutes. We were then given menus and the waitress just stood there... More

Fantastic location with amazing views and great surrounds - the ideal spot for a lazy weekend or public holiday breakfast. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive and happy to accommodate any requests you may have. Coffee was excellent and menu, whilst not telephone book thick provided good selection. Food was fresh and hot and enjoyed by all present including the... More

Had a great experience at Skyhigh. The views were just amazing, we were fortunate to have a clear day. Great food at the restaurant and the friendly staff rounded off a great day at Dandeong ranges. We will be back!

Went for birthday dinner. At a table of four, not one happy diner. Meals very poor quality at sky high prices. Chicken should have come with a steak knife. Medium steak came out very rare. Chicken linguine only had a few small pieces of chicken and poorly cooked. Nice view but would have been better off using the BBQ's on... More
