What's good on the menu...the view

Highly overrated. We were excited to dine at SkyHigh but we were very disappointed. The appetisers were plain and flavourless. The wine which came highly recommended was average and the mains were over cooked. If the steak was cooked to what we ordered the main meal would have been very tasty. We... read more

Third time visit here and once again fantastic. Attended for Sunday roast day, price includes soup, main meal, dessert bar, tea or coffee plus great cheese platters. Glass of wine on arrival with informative friendly staff. Tables are spacious and set with white linen . This is a popular wedding venue and birthday celebration restaurant, you get marvellous views through... More

Chose here for a special occasion on a Saturday night when the weather was perfect for the view. Entering the restaurant via the souvenir shop is tacky and set the scene for the night. The bench seats were too low to comfortably eat your food, empty bottles and glasses were only removed from the table when the wait staff were... More

We concluded a lovely day's sight seeing with a meal after sunset. Our exchange student loved our last special dinner and we'll definitely be back soon to try the lunch menu as Melbourne locals!

Went here with a really good friend of mine from Melbs and we had some drinks and lunch afterwards. Service was alright-efficient and friendly and ambiance was superb. Receptionist gave us a table with a view of the Melbourne City! It was amazing and beautiful. I ordered the menu for the day which was a combo of turkey and steak.... More

Even in the freezing cold windy weather you can still enjoy the view at Sky High Mt Dandenong. We had a table in the restaurant, alongside the window & we were able to see the sunset. The staff are really friendly here & the food was amazing!

My partner & I went in Feb 15 For his Birthday when we got there our table wasn't ready so we thought we would have a drink at the bar only to be told we would have to queue at the kiosk with all the Asian tourists that just arrived in a bus, they all pushed in front & we... More

Breathtaking views of the surrounding area. There is a 'Giants chair', English Garden and cafe at this site. There is also a six dollar charge to park. The day we visited the secre garden was closed. There is a maze on site, for a fee, closed when we visited.

I took my wife to Sky High for her 50th birthday as a surprise and although I was unable to book a table near the window, the table we had still gave us a great view of the night lights. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about all the food on the menu, which was good because we... More

a large group of us went to the skyhigh to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately the evening didn't start well with having to pay the $6 per car just to park the car to visit the restaurant. We (there were several cars) all felt that the $6 should be refunded on presentation of the ticket. They handed our free parking vouchers... More
