A great restaurant, top food and a wine list to die for!

The Kinmel Arms is a bit out of the way but well worth taking the trouble to visit . We would advise booking as it can get busy as you would expect with a place of this quality. You can relax and have a drink whilst they take your order then go to the restaurant to eat. There is a... read more

The Kinmel Arms comprises a traditional pub, complete with log fires, oak and slate decor, and also a superb restaurant. The chef is imaginative, there is a regular change of 'specials', and the service friendly and welcoming. In addition, for those lucky enough to stay, there are individually designed and super-comfortable bedrooms. The location is rural, and very beautiful -... More

Had a very good night last night - great food and wine. I can see that some people might think that the portions are small but for us it was just fine. If you want big portions and cheap food this is not the place for you - Enochs Fish and Chips in Llandudno junction is where you need to... More

My wife & I have just returned from a very enjoyable 2 night stay at The Kinmel Arms. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay. Tim & Lynn are wonderful hosts. The ambience of the Dining Room in the conservatory is just right. We had an excellent evening meal on both evenings. I had a main of Roe Deer on... More

My Wife and I recently had a lovely lunch at the Kinmel Arms and the atmosphere, service and food which we always find to be very good. They serve excellent local ales as well as using locally sourced produce in the kitchen and appropriate to the seasons - starters of pigeon breast with parsnips and granola and partridge breast and... We came here with high expectation due to tripadvisor comments and the 2 AA Rosette listing. I didnt live up to hour standard we expected. The staff were very helpful and efficient . The portions were quite small to be honest and there for ober priced in our oppinion. The taste was ok nothing special. We will consider comming back... More

The title says it all, very expensive for very small portions . I would not use this restaurant again.

Great attentive reception on arrival. Offered a table where we could peruse our menu and have a drink before making a decision. Order taken, shown to our table in a Coservatory area, away from the bar. A marble topped table, real napkins, beautiful selection of breads and olives, with olive forks supplied. A first for us! I had an amazing... More

We ate here with friends, and I have no real complaints. The food was good, well presented and tasty. The desserts are over priced for what you get , however once again they are very nice. The staff are ok, not that attentive, but friendly enough. Not sure about cats in the dining area, however I don't mind dogs in... More

Overall we had a lovely evening together at the Kinmel Arms. The staff were all very pleasant and the atmosphere very warm and homely. The beer and wine available were of excellent quality and were very much enjoyed. On the downside unfortunately the food was not as good as I'd expected. I chose scallops followed by duck. Both courses were... More
