Casual spot near train station

We had a long lunch and stay waiting for the train back to Ha Noi. The staff held our bags for us, which is very helpful. The location is close to the train station on a block with at least 10 other restaurants, mainly catering to tourists. The food is average and not too distinctive. It serves... read more

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and it's sister restaurant in Sapa. I really enjoy the one in Sapa and wish this one would provide the same quality food. I usually order a sandwich or something, which is badic but tasty. I went there for dinner with my friends and it was enjoyable until we were swarmed by... More

The restaurant is clean, the toilets are clean - that's the good... ;-) The food is pretty mediocre... didn't enjoy ours at all... This is a drop-off point for some people with their tour companies/guides and the restaurant owner goes to the station to get your ticket for you... or not ;-) ... unfortunately the owner kept telling us she... This is the place to wait if you arrive early to catch the train. The food is mediocre and over priced. We didn't have the opportunity to choose another place, as the was the first place our guide took us too. The teens didn't enjoy their Western burgers and my tofu was rubbery. The staff were friendly, but the restaurant... More

A clean and tidy restaurant for dinner while waiting for overnight train to Hanoi from Lao Cai. Drinks and food are quite pricey here as compared to a similar standard of restaurant in SaPa and Hanoi. Please don't order Hawaiian pizza and Carbonara pasta - not good.

The place has very few redeeming qualities. Overpriced, mediocre western food in a charmless environment - full of people waiting to leave... Train station is close. Soups sweetened with sugar. Hot chocolate surprisingly good, but at 2.50us I suppose it should be. Trip advisor led us here... Maybe one day it will lead you better.

While waiting the train to Hanoi, our guide dropped us in this restaurant. It seems to be a tourist refuge before getting the train and the staff is well trained to do not force people to get anything from the menu. While the staff is friendly and do its best to accomodate the tourists needs, sometimes they forget to deliver... More

Aside from the lovely staff there is nothing good about this place. The food is comepletly over-priced and the worst meal ive had in the last month travelling vietnam. I ordered a pizza, a 'bacelona', it was meant to have ham on it but all there was was a single slice of ham and a boiled egg. The beer was... More

We arrived on a train from Hanoi early Sunday morning, and was brought here by someone from the Bac Ha tour we booked. We ordered breakfast, which was average, and was asked to wait until our pick up arrive at 9am. We noticed there were rooms upstairs and asked if we could rent for a few hours. It was USD5... More

Friendly atmosphere and attentive staff lulled us into a false sense of security. When a wait-staff offered to exchange our train voucher for a ticket while we relaxed with our meal, we agreed. However, they exchanged our expensive private car voucher for a Vietnamese National car ticket. We didn't realize what they had done until we were ready to board,... More
