Ordered two sandwiches and two cold drinks 10.00.Food duly arrived mine a toasted sandwich sat in the middle of a sizeable plate looking lost.Thin lacking oomph no garnish, my companions similar in presentation. What a disappointment ,they may have been around a while but this was like stepping back in time.

The family decided on a day trip and we'd never been to Sutton but we picked it as we wanted all the nice seaside tradition but not the tack & chav of Skegness. The Cornerhouse really sums that up. We had three hot drinks & cakes for £11 and it did the job and was as other reviewers say spotlessly... More

We have been visiting Sutton on Sea for many (25+) years, during this time many changes have occurred to this sleepy little Lincolnshire Town. But the one constant has been Michael and Shirley who own and run this establishment. It is frequented by locals and tourists alike and I'd the hub for goings on in the town. Good honest food... We have only been here once but it is a popular cafe amongst the locals. As it was only a light lunch, we didn't spend much but the menu had a decent variety and was well priced. You will not find a speck of dust/dirt in this shop which is always very reassuring, and I like the decor inside.

We popped in for a coffee and bun after our long drive to Sutton on Sea. The welcome was very nice. Plenty of staff all smiling and working whilst seeming to have a lovely time. One or two others were in and everyone was chattering away. I was reading the reviews and noticed people commenting on the prices, while we... More

We have visited this little gem over many years. The host and hostess Michael and Shirley, run a quietly efficient, charming coffee/tea house and restaurant where cleanliness is second to none. The location is ideal as it sits on the corner near the approach to the beach. Seating is both inside and out, with a thoughtful bowl of water and... More

called in on a lovely bank holiday weekend for a couple of sandwiches...so disappointing. Chicken on brown bread over £3, came in cheap brown thin sliced bread, chicken so thin it was tasteless with can you believe it an extra 35p for salad in it! Icing on the cake was being charged for a glass of tap water. Never again.... More
