We have had a few meals at The Kings Head over the years and since the current owners have been there, all have been excellent. It is a cosy country pub, thatched roof, low beams (very low in places!), open fires in the winter and a nice beer garden in the summer. This is definitely one of the best places... More

We have come to this area on holiday for the last few years. Food is top quality and service is excellent. Some great flavours and a good choice on the menu.

We come to Lincolnshire ever summer and look forward to our annual visit to here. Food that is on offer here is always freshly prepared, own grown vegetables used a lot of the time and the owner is very helpful and will accommodate any special dietary requirement. Best quality produce is used and is exceptionally tasty. This pub is a... More

Took our granddaughter for lunch which was superb as always. Excellent haddock and chips and juicy tender gammon. Lovely, friendly service. We can never understand why there are not more people there at lunchtimes. The best place in the area!

Although we had a large party (16 people), the landlord, landlady and their staff were very welcoming and extremely well organised. After drinks in the bar, we moved into the restaurant which had been prepared for our large party. The presentation of the food was highly professional and all cooked to absolute perfection all accompanied with a superb selection of... More

Me and my boyfriend came for dinner as we heard it was a hidden treasure. I had crab cakes for starter, and he had venison. The crab cakes were nice although they came with deep fried cabbage?! Which I'd never had before; it just tasted of oil really. But overall the crab cakes were nice. My boyfriends venison was lovely... More

Delicious meals. Great helpful and friendly owners. If what you want is not on their menu, they are happy to cook it for you. They have just started afternoon teas too. Lovely home made scones cooked fresh whilst you wait and sandwiches, cakes- high tea. I have visited often, always go back every year when on holiday in the area.... More

While the masses enjoyed Burgers and Candy Floss at the coast, we were 5 miles inland enjoying one of the nicest lunches I've had in a good while. Whilst driving to my friends at Mablethorpe on Friday eveningI passed the Kings Head Inn at Theddlethorpe and thought what a nice place it looked. When asked where I would like to... More

Whilst on holiday visited this thatched roof pub. It was recommended in visitors book where we were staying. We went on a Wednesday evening which was steak night and was very good. The staff were friendly and the whole place is interesting. Inside there are 2 large King and Queen seats which I thought were fab. Well worth a visit... More
