I attend a writing group on Wednesday mornings at Sweet Pea, so I generally just grab a coffee on my way upstairs, but I was so glad we called here for lunch while out for a walk last week. It was one if the hottest days of the summer so far, so we chose to sit outside in the shade... More

I have been to this cafe several times now and am always underwhelmed. The outside with it's stone building and beautiful garden makes it look so promising it's a shame the cafe itself is so diappointingly average. The decor is nice but boring. The food is all the old standards and even those that sound exotic are full of sweet... More

Hi sorry to hear our decor did not agree with your taste, i have to say we get nothing but compliments for our quaint cottage setting, exposed beams, and lovely vintage wallpaper and high quality furniture. Our menu changes on a regular basis and we have a daily specials board. All our food is home cooked, all our baking is... More

One of the nicest places I have visited lately. The all day fry is amazing not to mention the coffees and tray bakes. A very friendly environment, good staff and homely atmosphere, well worth a visit.

Have visited here on a number of occasions and I've always received great service and of course delicious food! It is a great place to relax and bring your kids as there is a little kids corner where kids can play with the toys that are provided which gives the adults a chance to talk!! :) . It's definitely my... More

Myself and my husband visited the Sweet Pea for the first time last week after hearing good reports from friends. I have to say it did not dissapoint, the food was just delicious with lovely friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. There were a number of mouth watering homemade desserts on offer also that we unfortunatly had to resist but we... More

Stopped in here several times over the past year or more for coffee cakes and buns always a super selection and of a high quality. A purpose built house beautifully presented and the staff are all very friendly and like a bit of craic.

After staying in Warrenpoint, we stopped here on the way back home. I had an Ulster fry which was decent, and there was plenty of food. The service left something to be desired though, as we were told to sit anywhere, then stopped from sitting at a table that was not marked as reserved, and ended up sitting right by... More

We called at the Sweet Pea Café on Saturday after having a lovely couple of hours through Annett's Garden Centre and seeing all the animals and birds. The Café was quite full with families who had probably done what we did and were relaxing after their walk. The waitresses were very pleasant and efficient, and the service was very good.... More

My husband, three little girls and mother in law visited here for lunch last Thursday.. a beautiful building inside and out (well signposted) in a perfect setting beside a great garden centre, which has some lovely walks,a petting farm and a play park for kids...food was fresh and looked interesting but the vegetable soup really lacked taste and my fish cakes...
