Great place to eat

We had walked past a few times and it was always full with a number of locals, that always bodes well so decided to eat there and were glad we did. Service was friendly, food was tasty and the plate of watermelon we were given at the end was perfect.

Very good restaurant. Always fresh food. Perfect staff. Good old Greek music that made time stopping. Reasonable price of the food and drinks. Kostis and his son did a great job. Very good chief cook. Definitely my family's tavern that we'll visit again.

Very traditional looking, family restaurant. Prices seemed comparable, but actually more expensive for meat and fish dishes than others. Food not the freshest, then we were there last week of the season. Swordfish seemed frozen and steak was not good at all. Might be better in height of summer, but would recommend going elsewhere.

Having had a very good lunch we returned a few days later for an evening meal which unfortunately was disappointing. The staff are very friendly in particular the elderly gentleman who treats you like a long lost cousin and you do get free dessert and ouzo but would probably opt to try elsewhere for an evening meal.

Just eaten at Kostis on the harbour. What an amazing meal. 1/2 lt wine, starter and mains plus complimentary dessert and glass of ouzo. €31 all in. I had the shrimps in tomato and feta. Menu does not do this prawn saganaki justice. I've not seen prawns this big in ages. My wife had kleftico, arrived wrapped in paper and... More

Ate here on our last night. We decided on a bit of a splurge as we were going home the next day. Had garlic prawns and garlic mushrooms to start. Both were disappointing, the prawns had no garlic taste whatsoever and the mushrooms were served in a bland bechamel sauce with just chunks of garlic thrown in. Not good. For... More

The owner greets us like he has known us all our life. We have not been very satisfied with the food. The tzatziki is from a plasticbox like so many other restaurants. It's like the Greek restaurants have forgotten the food their grandma made and they serve us a dull kvasi copy totally in lack of seasoning. They live in... More

We ate here having read the reviews on TA. The service was friendly and prices were good but we did find the food a little average compared to other taverns in Limenaria. There is much better in the town!

I ate every day for about a week in their tavern after I was invited by Mr. Kostis. He and his son and nephews are very friendly, talkative, and willing to fulfill every culinary wish you might think of. In order to keep you as a client for the entire holiday they give you some small "bonuses" such as a... More
