Certificate of Excellence 2014
Cuisines: Spanish
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, Late Night
Description: This is a superb dining experience on the promenade at Los Alcazare4s, on the Mar Menor in Spain. The food is superb. I have eaten there in july 2011 and july 2010 and both times the friendly and professional staff were wonderful, helpful and very family friendly. There is a hotel attached. The food offered is a wonderful array of meat, fish and spanish dishes. My friends had sweet, and moist bream and bass I had the most unctuous pork knuckle. The desserts were well made, fresh and full of flavour. On Thursdays/Friday there are dances to Spanaish live music where hundreds watch and dance along the prom. I recommend this wonderful establishment.

The location is fabulous and you can hire beds on the beach opposite from the bar. The tapas menu is varied and is hit and miss - for example the octopus is nice but the fried cheese always comes a little bit frozen in the middle.

We had read about this hotel before arriving and had received recommendations too so were keen to experience the food. We booked a few days ahead for a Sunday evening which is when the Flamenco is on and were allocated a fantastic table in prime posiiton. The whole experience at this historic hotle was was lovely, great service, albeit a... More

We treat ourselves each holiday for our anniversary! Atmosphere great as always but steaks were disappointing and expensive! Normally that would be ok but not value for money this year! The dessert did make up For it a little but it was our 30th anniversary and it did not meet it's usual standard:(

Nothing too much for staff, food beautifully served, not the cheapest but worth it for a special occasion. Atmosphere totally relaxing decor old but very very interesting, go in for a coffee just to look in the court yard, a building to be treasured. Well done for keeping the restaurant going serving excellent quality food.

Food was amazing, service was good, reasonable priced menu for such quality food. We ate here on our last night, if it had been earlier on in the holiday we would have gone back again and again!

Just been to this restaurant after reading the reviews, we had a lovely evening overall mainly due to the setting but the food itself was nothing to write home about, it was OK, average really, and we are not hard to please! Would recommend the chips, meatballs, clams and prawns but everything else was average. Tip, if you want tapas you... More

Had dinner here last Saturday evening and it was just superb! A fabulous setting on the terrace and service was very professional, personal and friendly. The food was just amazing especially the prawn in garlic starter, Sole on the bone grilled in olive oil served with the most fantastically cooked vegetables. My friends shared a seafood paella which was so... More

This is a fabulous place for a meal, especially out on the terrace as the sun goes down, the food is amazing and the service exceptional, areal taste of the past well worth a visit.

Walking along the wonderful, picturesque and peaceful sea front boulevard in Los Alcazares , Murcia we came across a scene from the turn of the 19th century. The Hotel Balneario La Encarnacion, Built in 1904 brought up to date but still charming and old fashioned. To top that it had the most wonderful seafront restaurant serving Michelin star quality food.... More

Impeccable service, we opted for set menu which was €25 for selection of starters, main course, selection of desserts and a bottle of wine per every 2 people. The children's menu was extensive and varied. There was a Flemenco Show on the Sunday evening (book in advance as it books up quite quickly). Also try get a table near the... More
