Description: This is a superb dining experience on the promenade at Los Alcazare4s, on the Mar Menor in Spain. The food is superb. I have eaten there in july 2011 and july 2010 and both times the friendly and professional staff were wonderful, helpful and very family friendly. There is a hotel attached. The food offered is a wonderful array of meat, fish and spanish dishes. My friends had sweet, and moist bream and bass I had the most unctuous pork knuckle. The desserts were well made, fresh and full of flavour. On Thursdays/Friday there are dances to Spanaish live music where hundreds watch and dance along the prom. I recommend this wonderful establishment.

This is a very popular place along the promenade at Los Alcazares. It is one of the best value deals - basically you get fresh orange juice and tostada for little more than the price of a cup of coffee. The views over the Mar menor to the hills beyond and La Manga are beautiful and it is lovely to... More

Encarnacion is very unique. The setting is as other reviews state very special. It has a front terrace that has lovely views over the Mer Menor. Inside the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with comfy chairs and interesting decor.Tables are beautifully set with individual crockery. The inner patio is a hidden gem with plants tumbling down from upper floors. We had... More

Having read some of the reviews you would think the staff here are in slow motion. Personally i like to enjoy my food slowly and not and done with in 10 minutes. The food here is extremely good in my opinion. I tried the Pulpo and i have to say i have never had such great octopus. The Dorada was... More

Went to L'Encarnacion on a Sunday evening with friends. Love setting on beach front side with terrific flamenco dancers as a bonus. Meal was good but I've had better in the square! Service was good but we weren't told about a set menu! Consequently, we ended up with an extortionate bill for 2 courses each, 2 bottles of wine and... More

We visited here after reading lots of great reviews but unfortunately we didn't have quite the same experience. The restaurant is in a lovely beach front location and is nicely lit in the evening. However, the service was extremely slow and the food was pretty average. As a vegetarian there wasn't much choice but the pasta I did Have was... More

We went without a booking and almost got stuck on the plastic chairs in the square, after a little investigation we ended up on the posh side with real cloth napkins and a sea front view. The service was somewhat rushed but the staff were pleasant even if they were sometimes forgetful. We went on a religious day and we're... More

The setting here is terrific but I did not find anything to rave about food wise. I have experienced better food in other restaurants in Los Alcazares and would not feel compelled to return. I see that others have had a much better experience- perhaps I caught them on a bad night???

This is a lovely restaurant and the food is normally very good. We visited here August Bank Holiday weekend and it was just too busy, hence the food that was served was extremely disappointing, we ordered the veal escalope - which was hardly cooked and it was served with what could have been frozen chips. It wont put me off... More

It's located in such a lovely spot on the coast of Los Alcázares. You can see out to the Mar Menor and beautiful ocean. The service was great and the tapas was amazing! So much to choose from. We went at lunch so it was quite quiet but I imagine it gets busier at night!
