Generous menu, and even more generous portions! If you prefer smaller quantities I recommend two starters instead of a main course! Helpful, pleasant staff - no stress or unnecessary nonsense! 10% reduction on Fridays we discovered, but good value anyway. Convenient walking distance from Roda Golf.

Campbell's is and Irish bar run by a true Irishman Mike, he gives you a traditional warm welcome as soon as you walk in. The bar from outside looks small but don't let that fool you, the bar area has a warm glow from the gleaming wooden furniture and Tiffany lighting, it's delightful, next door is the restaurant , we... Spent a week at Roda Golf Resort with my fiancé last week and called up the road to Campbell's on three of nights. We eat there twice also. The food was very good. We met Ciaran the first afternoon we were in and he was very friendly and gave us good advice on where to visit during our week. The... More

We went for Sunday lunch with friends. All started well and we were given a very friendly welcome by the young girl who was serving. There was a choice of 3 meats for the main, lamb, pork or beef. We chose prawns to start and our friends had soup. There were very few prawns for the price. Our mains came... More

I have holidayed in Los Alcatharez for the last 4 years and always visited Campbell's for a meal. This restaurant is superb. It's away from the "strip" of restaurants so you don't get hassled by blokes selling knocked off DVDs etc (they start to hack you off after a while!). I would really recommend this place. It's a little more... More

Decided on Campbells based on recommendations from the owner of the apartment we were hiring. Not the best signage to advertise its location, drove past first of all but then found it on the return trip into Roda. Parked on the road outside. We went for an earlier sitting having our boys with us so the parking may get difficult... More

We went looking for this place after it was recommended to us. We nearly drove past it as its signage is fairly subtle. We booked for 9pm on a Tuesday and when we arrived we were the only ones there. This worried us a little at first but the service was great and the place looks great. Think contemporary upmarket... More

What a difference a year makes ! Campbells was always a great quality , if slightly expensive option in Roda village , but in the last year the great success of Roda's Bar in the village has clearly cost them a lot of business - and it shows When we visited it wasn't anywhere near as busy as we had... Went to Campbells after reading the very positive tripadvisor reviews. First course was good, my wife had the pil pil prawns, I had the shredded duck. My main however, cod with potatoes and caramelised sweet chilli was awful. The potatoes were stale and clearly reheated, the cod was over cooked, the caramelised chilli wasn't, it was just finally chopped. I... More
