Description: I have had numerous meals in this cafe and think they do one of the best jumbo breakfasts going. 5* hygiene/cleanliness rating too! The cafe is set on the grass above the beach and has fantastic sea views all the way to Saltburn. Fantastic food, fantastic staff. Highly recommended.

Decided to park up outside this cafe & walk to Saltburn. Filled up on a nice milky coffee & a bacon & egg butty. Been a couple of times before. It's often busy but it's worth the wait. Basic seating & conveniences but ignore that because the food & beverages speak for themselves. After the walk we returned to afternoon... More

food is good, it's sometimes difficult to get a seat (which can only be a good sign), service quite slow BUT this is because the food is cooked fresh. Nice icecream and milkshakes for the kids, the only thing I don't particularly like is their hot chocolate, not chocolatey enough.. I buy coffee instead! Nice place, I visit regularly!

This is a lovely little cafe which is nice and handy after a stroll along the beach. There is a good selection of food which is very reasonably priced. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. There is always bowls of water left out for your dogs which is very nice of the staff to do. The ice cream... More

We often walk along the Stray at Redcar and call in for a snack. The staff are very pleasant and the food homemade. It is always busy, so that is a good recommendation.

This cafe has a great choice of food menu. Food is home made and well cooked at reasonable prices. My wife and I regularly used this after walking the dogs. Ideally situated on the coast road.

Very much your average sea side cafe menu but with a enffersis on quality but the thing that makes it stand out is its proximity to the sea with indoor and exterior seating that give wonderful views of the feeding oyster catchers, the green of the stray and the cliffs of saltburn beyond, making it a great place to unwind with a... An old friend and I met for a coffee & snack to talk over mutual interests. I ordered a buttered scone with jam - "Jam's extra" was the response! Undeterred by the extra expense(!) I confirmed the order. Sadly the scone was delivered with the butter but no jam! A minor detail but typical of the nature and standard of... More

Down from Devon visiting family and happened to stumble upon this little gem on a walk. Not very big but made use of space very well, lovely views of the sea to go with the tasty food. Staff very helpful and friendly and would definitely go back when back in Redcar. Very pleased customers x
