It's nice to be in Spain and enjoy the local cuisine but sometimes you want something else without chips. I went to Lowerys tonight and had homemade pie with jacket potatoes and garden peas and for pudding chocolate and peanut butter pie with ice cream. It doesn't get much better

On our visit we wasn't sure if it was a pub or a restaurant and still not sure. Won't go into too much detail because the people were quite nice. The food was mediocre but the chips we were served were as brown as the color of the table, maybe overcooked but they should not have been served like that.... More

We prefer to normally try out the Spanish restaurants when in Spain but the food at Lowry's had been recommended and we wanted to watch England play on the TV so visited Lowry's last week. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and the food was superb. Good choice and excellent value. Loved the presentation. Would return just for the... More

We've eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed high quality, tasty meals at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly, welcoming and super efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. Today was no different. We ate a delicious Sunday Roast with all the trimmings. The restaurant was fairly busy but we were neither kept waiting for long nor felt... More

We had an invite from friends who had booked for Mothers Day, we don't usually go out on special days and wish now we had stayed at home, but felt obliged. On entering it was very busy and staff were running round looking very stressed, it was very busy but also noisy. We were seated but then nobody came back... More

The Lowry has always been a favourite local of ours. So when it came to deciding where to have a party it was an obvious choice, due to the outstanding staff and service. Warm welcome from the start and speedy bar service through out the evening. Spacious and comfortable surroundings, with warm and cosy decor together with plenty of room... More

A visit to the Lowry is a must when in this area!! The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We have been to this restaurant twice now once in summer eating outside and again this winter eating inside, both meals were excellent, several starter and main meals to chose from all fresh food and vegetables. If you enjoy good food it's the place to go.
