We have eaten in Japanese restaurants around the world and we were disappointed with the food which was expensive and ordinary. The staff were efficient but the atmosphere was lacking as we were the only guests. The chef was efficient and moderately entertaining. Some of us chose the set menu and some the a la carte which we think in... More

I love this restaurant. I would normally eat in traditional restaurants when abroad, but I make an exception for this one. If you are with a few people, sit inside and have your food cooked right in front of you by a very talented, Japanese chef. We chose one of the menus consisting of lobster, squid, scallops, fillet of beef... More

We have eaten here a few times over the last 3 years and always have a fantastic teppenyaki meal. It's fun to watch the chef cook for you with a few tricks. The meal is varied with fish and steak and delicious. The staff are lovely and always smiling and very helpful. The kimonos you wear for your meal are... More

Wonderful location and atmosphere. We sat outside on a lovely sunny evening, but we were very disappointed with our meals. The starters were rather cool and soggy. The main course was really lovely, but rice noodles arrived sometime before the meat and fish dishes allowing the forma to go cold. Not the most exciting of evenings, perhaps we were just... More

Absolutely amazing & definitely worth a visit. We went for my husband's birthday on 17th Sept. The staff greeted us courteously & were just so attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We had drinks first then sat at the tepinyaki to enjoy the truly amazing skills of the chef and enjoy the superb meals he produced. We each had the... More

Having not been to a teppanyaki restaurant in three years we made an effort to find the aoi teppenyaki while on holiday in moraira. We were not disappointed. Between two of us we ordered several starters so we could try something new tempura prawns, green soya beans, mini rolls and steamed dumplings. For mains we had egg fried rice, beef... More

During our 10 day stay in Moraira we visited AOI twice and if my youngest son had got his way, we would have eaten there every day!. The food was excellent, the service was beyond reproach and the set menus offered excellent value. Unfortunately we missed out on the Teppanyaki experience as we didn't book, however the staff made sure... More

My family and I went here and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, especially the beef and lobster. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly, they made sure we were really happy non stop, to the point of holding my 5 month baby so I could eat!! The Chef was very skilled, the only bad thing I can say... More
