A Spanish gem

We went there on a wednesday to have lunch. We made a reservation first because last year we came and it was packed of people and we couldn't eat. It seems that reservations are a must only on weekends. The restaurant offers excellent food at very competitive prices (at least rice, their specialty). We ordered steamed clams as starter and... Place to be for a fantastic paella. Traditional style paella! Nice thin, with a lot of meat/fish. Great personal service and atmosphere.

We ate here for lunch on my birthday 18 July 2015. It was full when we arrived but they found us a table for two inside. It has a Spanish feel to it, unlike many other restaurants in Moraira, due to the large ex-pat community, so that was very welcome. There were some marvellous rice dishes coming out of the... More

Visited last week as we usually do at least once or twice a Year, we were a little disappointed the paella was such a small portion barely deeper than 2 grains of rice with 5 pieces of cod & monkfish on top it was also quite bland in flavour. When the bill arrived I was shocked to see that the... More

If you want proper Spanish Paella in a proper Spanish arroceria look no further! Moraria is a very pretty town but it does have large ex-Pat communities and a lot of the restaurants are international in feel. We chose this place on the basis that we were holidaying in Spain and should do as the locals do. We weren't disappointed:... More

Lovely grub in family friendly atmosphere. Paella very good. 175 euros for 2 courses, aperitif and a fair bit of wine for 5 adults. Well done!

We visited Raco de l'Arros on a recent holiday to Moraira, we were recommended the restaurant when we asked other people living locally where we should go for a good paella. We went 2 nights before we came home and can honestly say we regretted not having visited earlier as we would definitely have come back again. The service is... More

I visited Raco de l'Arros on the evening of the Moros y Cristianos gala procession on Sunday June 14th about 4 hours after stepping off a plane from the UK. We just happened to be walking past reading TripAdvisor reviews as we went and I made a snap decision to go in. I didn't want Paella so was a bit... More

Right in the centre of Moraira sits this little restaurant with very friendly staff. On the menu there are quite some paella choices. We had the one with fresh ansovis. loved it! I should't be so positive, for it will get quite busy.....
