We came here looking for an authentic Spanish paella, based on the previous reviews. We were really disappointed though; we had the mixed meat and seafood paella for 2 and it was just really bland and very, very salty. We felt that any flavour it did have, had been completely overridden by the salt. The chicken in it was also... More

This looked like a promising place for dinner. A little bit disappointed and they weren't busy but it lacked atmosphere, food was average and the service could have been a bit more pleasant.

We visit this restaurant everything and takeaway to the villa, it really is the best. Served in the pans, take home, pour the rosado and eat away. This restaurant has been here for years and the owner is a lovely man, very pleasant and accommodating.

Of all the restaurants we visited, only this one really felt authentically Spanish. Excellent food, really friendly staff and sensible prices. This is the only place we returned to during our holiday - make sure you pay a visit.

This is one of those lovely Spanish restaurants which doesn't advertise itself to the tourist throngs and which I suspect has a discerning owner who keeps 'reserved' signs on the tables unless you look like the kind of people he would like to have in his restaurant! The clientele were almost all Spanish when we ate lunch there and the... More

Excellent food, cannot rate highly enough. Friendly and efficient service from locals. May need to book as we only found one table which was available. The paella was perfect and the starters (stuffed peppers and tomato and mozzarella salad) were very tasty. Would definitely recommend as an authentic and high quality restaurant at very good value for what you get.... More

Small typical Spanish restaurant - tiny outside - the sort of place you just walk past - don't!! We were the first in there - the service was excellent - very attentive but not all over you - they seem to find it amusing having English people in there The food was excellent - prawns in garlic and calamari to... Eaten Paella here, and sea devil. All very well prepared. Tasteful. What else to say that we fully enjoyed this place. Service was excellent. Go, go, go!

We wanted to try a genuine paella and had found good reviews about Raco de L'Arroz on the internet. On a main road in the centre of the town near the sea front, it was the kind of place we would normally have avoided. However this wasn't a tourist trap - which was confirmed by the number of locals eating... More

Wanted to take family visiting for an authentic paella. After reading reviews on here we booked a table and was glad we went! Two of us shared a chicken one while the other 2 shared a chicken and rabbit one. Was advised it would be a 30 minute wait but was served fresh bread and ali oli. Paella came and... More
