This is a nice family restaurant outside moraira. Good food, nice setting and a children's menu including a small playground as well as some rocks and a fountain the kids can play with. You also can buy some bottles of wine as they have a cellar. A nice option out.

This is one if our favourite restaurants in a Moraira. Set in a large courtyard it always has a great atmosphere, the service is very good and friendly and the food always superb. This time I had the Iberian pork to start which was delicious and once again couldn't resist the slow cooked lamb for main - again delicious. All... More

Visited on a Sunday lunch and chose the 32 Euro menu with 5 courses including jamon with finely grated foie gras, carpaccio of beef, sorbet, ravioli of oxtail and a choice from the dessert menu, and I chose the whisky tarta, liberally doused with Ballantine's whisky. Other choices included fish soup, scrambled eggs with mushrooms, magret of duck etc. Wine was a good... More

A real treasure this one. A limited but delicious menu delivered with real pride even if not always with a smile. Typically Spanish so top quality meats but don't expect lots of accompaniments. Great location and plenty of space. Not cheap but well worth it.

We went for a mid-week treat and were pleased to find at least another twenty diners, some enjoying the warm evening by eating outdoors and a few (locals?) shivering inside! Having been here when it very first opened and finding the service as others have described it in more recent reviews, a little on the off-hand side of friendly, we... More

Love this restaurant and consistently good. As usual the food was great and fab wine. Great location to eat in or out. Pleasant staff always make the experience a treat I particularly love the secreto credo a house special but to be fair all of the food is great and well served. Little touches like complimentary nibbles and sorbet are... More

Ca la iaia was the first restaurant I had the pleasure of dining at on the first night of my arrival to Alicante. The food was so delicious, the atmosphere was mesmerizing, and the service was absolutely fantastic! A great start to my trip.

Never disappointed when dining here. Staff always pleasant, terrace well set out; once here you wouldn't know you are just a few feet from the main road. Both of our meals were up to their usual good standard and the house red wine a good a choice as any expensive wine.

This restaurant came highly recommended by local friends who are regulars here. We could see why. The wine selection is very good, food delicious and service good. We loved the Iberico ham with foie gras, lamb, pork etc. In fact each of us was happy with our choice of main course.

Ca la iaia has fabulous large dining terrace with a water feature which is beautifully lit up at night. We had an enjoyable meal at Ca la iaia, although my partner didn't particularly like his starter of gambas allijo. The prawns weren't served sizzling as they normally do with that dish, in fact were barely warm and just swimming in... More
