My tea was waiting

Because I had let my husband know I was on my way down, my tea was piping hot and ready on the table!

Our first cream tea of our trip to Cornwall and it couldn't have been in a better setting. We were very quickly served by nice and friendly staff. It wasn't too busy despite being a very nice day and the rest of the Mount seeming quite full. The only flaw I could think of was that the clotted cream was... More

With a bit of a captive audience on the island you might expect a dip in standards, but we had an excellent meal here after visiting the castle. We had a crab rarebit and a mackerel pate from the light lunches menu (perfectly sized portions) and the linguine from the specials, and all were delicious! Also a very tasty bowl... More

We had an amazing morning climbing up to the castle on the mount and back at the bottom in the harbour we had a well earned cup of tea. I had a Gluten free cream tea. lovely and hit the spot just right! (usually difficult to find Gluten free cream teas) there were other options on the menu too. We... More

We have eaten at The Sail Loft many times over the years and have always enjoyed it but yesterday's visit was very disappointing and I wouldn't eat there again. There is no denying the restaurant has great views and is pleasant inside but the menu has been scaled back and offers very little choice for lunch. I had a cheese... More

What a stunning location; stroll over to the Mount, and have breakfast in the Sail Loft. Great poached eggs and coffee but I do wish they served a full English breakfast! A great experience and the lunch menu looked very inviting.

We went here after we visited St. Michael's Mount and we had a cracking cream tea. The scones were sensational! The decor is minimalist, but comfortable and it was an excellent way to finish our afternoon.

I have just returned from a week’s holiday in Cornwall, with my wife and 4 yr. old daughter. I am about to post a number of reviews of the restaurants, cafes and attractions we have visited and or experienced. I have to say at the outset that there is a plethora of things to do and there is no doubt... More

A quick nip on on our way down from the castle. Lovely scones including the best gluten fee scones I have had. Not the cheapest, but well worth it.

The food was not the cheapest, but given the location this is not a surprise. The service was very good, helpful and friendly. The food excellent, and worth a visit if you send any time at the Mount.
