We had an amazing morning climbing up to the castle on the mount and back at the bottom in the harbour we had a well earned cup of tea. I had a Gluten free cream tea. lovely and hit the spot just right! (usually difficult to find Gluten free cream teas) there were other options on the menu too. We... More

We have eaten at The Sail Loft many times over the years and have always enjoyed it but yesterday's visit was very disappointing and I wouldn't eat there again. There is no denying the restaurant has great views and is pleasant inside but the menu has been scaled back and offers very little choice for lunch. I had a cheese... More

What a stunning location; stroll over to the Mount, and have breakfast in the Sail Loft. Great poached eggs and coffee but I do wish they served a full English breakfast! A great experience and the lunch menu looked very inviting.

We went here after we visited St. Michael's Mount and we had a cracking cream tea. The scones were sensational! The decor is minimalist, but comfortable and it was an excellent way to finish our afternoon.

I have just returned from a week’s holiday in Cornwall, with my wife and 4 yr. old daughter. I am about to post a number of reviews of the restaurants, cafes and attractions we have visited and or experienced. I have to say at the outset that there is a plethora of things to do and there is no doubt... More

A quick nip on on our way down from the castle. Lovely scones including the best gluten fee scones I have had. Not the cheapest, but well worth it.

The food was not the cheapest, but given the location this is not a surprise. The service was very good, helpful and friendly. The food excellent, and worth a visit if you send any time at the Mount.

After a recent visit to St Michael's Mount, we called in at the Sail Loft for some lunch. The cafe was very busy, but we managed to grab a table in the very nice restaurant, which is nicely decorated and has a very airy feel to it. We ordered a cheese and chutney sandwich, and a Cornish cream tea. All... More

We had a quick late lunch here. We both had the half pint of prawns. The prawns were fresh, the aioli homemade and the soda bread delicious. We also had a chili, ginger and lime flavoured Atlantic Discovery beer which went great with the prawns - an exciting discovery! Nice setting with lovely views over the sea.

This is a good place for a Cornish Cream Tea once you have descended from the top of the Mount. Really nice and pleasant with friendly staff
