After a recent visit to St Michael's Mount, we called in at the Sail Loft for some lunch. The cafe was very busy, but we managed to grab a table in the very nice restaurant, which is nicely decorated and has a very airy feel to it. We ordered a cheese and chutney sandwich, and a Cornish cream tea. All... More

We had a quick late lunch here. We both had the half pint of prawns. The prawns were fresh, the aioli homemade and the soda bread delicious. We also had a chili, ginger and lime flavoured Atlantic Discovery beer which went great with the prawns - an exciting discovery! Nice setting with lovely views over the sea.

This is a good place for a Cornish Cream Tea once you have descended from the top of the Mount. Really nice and pleasant with friendly staff

We had a lovely lunch here on our trip to St.Michels mount during the Whitsun school holidays. We were fortunate to have great weather so sat out side with the castle looming up behind us. The menu had plenty of choice with lots of locally sourced food, I had the crab rarebit and it was absolutely delicious! Food came quickly... More

This is the main restaurant on St. Michaels Mount (There is also a cafe near the gardens) and as we visited the castle over the lunch period we decided to try this. Firstly, it's quite modern with some funky looking chairs. No issues there. There wasn't a great deal of choice on the menu but fair enough, it's a small... More

Had lunch here visiting St. Michael's mount and castle for the day. I enjoyed the BEST TOASTED SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD; no ordinary tuna melt! (I told the staff too!) Good staff and service although mega busy at peak periods.

A lovely cafe with quite a full menu. I stopped for coffee and cake. I had a cappuccino with a chocolate brownie and a side of clotted cream to be extra naughty. The cappuccino was perfect in proportion and very smooth in taste. As good as any I could make. The brownie was warm and chocolatey as all brownies should... More
