Need more staff on busy times but otherwise ok

A super small lunchtime stop on the island of St Michaels Mount near Marazion. They need more staff but those we met were doing the job well.

The menu has changed since I last ate at this restaurant; in the sense that the menu is really quite succinct. There is a Specials Board (three possibilities the day we visited). However, it's worth looking at the menu at the so-called Island Cafe, not far along the harbour, as there might be more choice there.

We spend a lot of time in Marazion and regularly go across to St Michaels Mount. We often have a drink here but have never eater here before. Waitress too our order promptly, and brought our wine straight away. We opted for the ploughman sharer with a side of olives. Food was delicious, Celtic blue, cheddar and Brie, served with... More

Another good lunch at a National Trust site. We stopped here for lunch while visiting the Castle and gardens. I has a cheese and chutney sandwich and my husband had the cauliflower with Parmesan soup with lovely homemade grain bread. We both really enjoyed our meal which was fresh, tasty and well presented. We ate outside which was nice too.... More

I would have given four stars but this was good, not very good. We only had sandwiches and tea but it was fine and nicely presented, if a tad expensive.

My partner and I were doing a walk on the south west coastal path, probably like many others. Came across Lamornas cove and hadn't expected to find this little Gem here. Our Grandma had suggest the pub further up in the village however we weren't going that way till our return journey. This was the first time I've ever tried... More

The decor at the Sail Loft on St. Michaels Mount was nice and the restaurant wasn't too busy with a lot of staff serving. Only 2 of us and found a small table with dirty plates on. A dark haired waitress came over removed the dirty plates and said she would come straight back and wipe the table. A few... More

The crab sandwiches were served with nice bread and fresh. The scones and brownies looked at smelt good - we will be back to try those! Get a window seat :... More

We only gone in for a coffee but will power was weak and decided to have a cream tea. One of my better decisions as it was great. Don't know where they get the scones but they had an almost shortbread consistency and were beyond delicious. Prices were good and the staff were friendly. We will be back next time... More
