Description: Food served throughout the day Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce. From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte. Where to eat? Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the new glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9 or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a logburner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.

We called in a few days before this for a drink on the sunny terrace; we liked the feel of the Godolphin. We left and booked by phone, we were promised a window table with a view of St Michael's Mount (and the sunset). On arriving, the service was impeccable; we sat at the promised table and had a perfect... More

Limited menu choice for 100s of covers from lunch through till late must help with quality control! Sea food specialities but with limited meat choices and vegetarian options. Not surprising considering proximity of Newlyn Port. Their beer battered cod is a must try as the batter is perfect through to the inside yet the fish remains wet and cooked to... More

Went for breakfast with our 1 year old daughter, highchair arrive in an awful state, leftover food from previous toddler - pretty disgusting. Ordered egg and soldiers for our daughter from their children's breakfast menu, one might assume that the egg would perhaps be runny for dipping? It arrived hard boiled, they offered to replace it but due to the... More

We ate here on a busy Saturday Evening in mid September. We didn't book but a table was available on the top deck. The service is impeccable, efficient and always with a smile. The food is good, I can recommend the Power Salad. It is a little noisy on busy evenings, but there is a nice buzz about the place,... More
