Great food, great views

I have been fortunate to travel to many places in the world but the views from the Godolphin Arms are as good as any. The food which I had, roast topside was delicious and the accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection. Supplemented by a glass of real ale, served by pleasant staff, it does... read more

We stopped off for coffee to shelter from the rain and were so take back by the beautiful setting, view and interior that we ended up having lunch, cream tea and eventually that coffee! View is stunning and the staff impeccable. We had soup and bread for lunch which was yummy and then cream tea with warm scones - perfect!... More

If you visit Cornwall do go to this superb restaurant and experience all you want from an eatery. If you can, get a seat overlooking St. Michael's Mount and I recommend the sharing platter of fish. We were served it by friendly waiters and can't wait to return.

Great choice of roast lunch- pork, Turkey, beef or gammon. The quality and quantity superb of both the meat and veg provided. Our son's kids roast at £6 fabulous value and again plenty to be had . Location is stunning overlooking St Michaels Mount. Very attentive and thoughtful service. My only slight disappointment was not a great choice or variety... More

The restaurant overlooks St Michael's Mount. The service was swift and efficient and the food good too. Water came with the menu which is a nice touch. We ordered starters but they also do sandwiches. One if us had warm bacon and spinach salad which was fresh and tasty. The other had duck liver on bruschetta with balsamic dressing. The... More

This restaurant has a great spot overlooking St Michael's Mount. We only went in for coffee and a cake, the cake came quickly (and was lovely) but we had to chase the hot drinks, as did another table next to us. Shame,. But would still recommend. We did consider eating here one evening.

I am really sorry about the wait for your hot drinks. We have 1 coffee machine and occasionally we do struggle to keep up with demand. We have a new machine arriving this month which will hopeful solve this problem. However your server should have noticed the delay and apologized to you. I am delighted you loved the Godolphin and...
