Based in a lovely restored building and very friendly, this is a great tapas bar. Our son is not really a tapas fan but they went out of their way to accommodate him. We didn't stay for the music but I guess if you want something to do later in the week it would be good fun.

If you fancy something a bit different and away from the hustle and bustle of the main square, then the “fairly new” Casa Grande is for you. It’s a tapas bar in a beautiful refurbished building offering tapas and more. As much as possible, local produce makes up the varied and tasty tapas selection and if not local, definitely all... Third visit and never disappoints. Has opened up outside area that is really big now and they have live music regularly in daytime. Also at night inside. The tapas are delicious and you can try out a range of good wines. Parallels with Terroir in Carvoeiro which is equally excellent. Staff very friendly. Try out the sausage stuffed with rice... More

This is one of the best Portuguese restaurants We have eaten in. Not only the ambiance but the staff are extremely friendly. The food is traditionally Portuguese and was very interesting and tasted exceptionally good. Ferragudo is a lovely little fishing town with a very picturesque setting so it was wonderful to experience such great food too. A meal with... More

Authentic tapas food served in a fabulous building just off the square. Friendly, helpful staff - we just asked for a mix of fish and meat tapas and were not disappointed. Well worth a visit

Lovely place - fantastic wine from really knowledgable staff. Excellent cold tapas-style food and an amazing building, large and cool with high ceilings. I really hope they do well!

Being fans of Tapas my wife and I decided to have out night out here on our own during a recent holiday and what a find. Casa Grande has 2 entrances but no grand signs or flashing lights but inside it has a beautiful calm ambience. We chose to sit outside in a closed courtyard area and enjoy the last... More

This winebar/restaurant is one of the nicest places i know in Ferragudo. You get very good advice on which wines go with the nicest dishes. The interior is typical Portuguese and has a lot of atmosphere. I recommend the Barranco Grande Escolha or Barranco Viognier with some smoked ham and cheese...the best wine from the Algarve. Luis is a very... More
