If you like fresh fish this is the place to go, but because it is a small family restaurant it is best to book in advance. We ate here twice last week and on both occasions we had a fantastic meal, and could not fault anything. The food was superb and such friendly service. It is a pity that the... More

We visited A Ria last year and we where delighted to see that restaurant still thriving with same owners who work very hard but always keep a smile on their face. The waiter who brought out the fish to chose from ( sorry I am not sure of your name) was very proud of showing us the catch of the... More

We visited on the 10th sept. The place always seems to be busy every time we pass so we decided to try it. We had the prawns and battered sardines for starters and both were delicious! We also had mains and again the flavours were amazing . We couldn't get over the value also. 2 starters, 2 mains, 1/2 bottle... More

We picked A Ria for our first meal in Ferragudo, based on what we had heard, and this is one place where I will never go back! I give full mark to the food (I had a really delicious fish, and all of us enjoyed what was beautifully cooked food and beautiful ingredients) however, the service was unacceptable. A couple... More

Ate here twice when we visited Ferragudo last week. Highly recommended, lovely atmosphere, fresh fish, and great service. The family who run the restaurant are just lovely, very helpful and friendly. We had steak, cuttlefish with clams and dourada-all delicious. All the fish is cooked on a grill beside the marina-so fresh! They also make delicious home-made desserts and great... More

We choose a grilled sea bass which was slightly over-cooked (extremes / belly portion), but still tasty and definitely fresh. The sides were delicious. Service was attentive and the staff did not push us out and let us calmly finish our wine, although we were the last at the place. Tip: here and at every restaurant when you order fish... More
