A little gem in the hills

Having seen the reviews on Trip Advisor we picked this Tavern out for a Sunday lunch, and we were not disappointed. And what a wonderful job they did. We came from all over (israel, england and ireland) and all ages- 10 months to 87 years old). Anita arranged the wedding cake, champagne and beautiful flowers. The food was varied and amazing. The service perfect and the music fantastic! What an atmostphere. They made it an evening I dont think any of... More

This time we went with friends and we have taken lamb chops. Unfortunately they have been too much cooked and some even slightly too dry. Pity, we were expecting more from them.

For a taste of Cyprus you won't do better than this. The food is very good but the main attraction of the joint is it's authentic Cypriot atmosphere, hard to find these days especially in the coastal resorts. For a full on night out go on Friday. It's pumped up bazouki and very loud but you'll see some real Greek... More

Food was fine but we visited on a Friday & the music was far too loud so we couldn't even hear the people next to us. Our ears were ringing for at least an hour after we left, this spoiled the evening for us.

The taverna is in the centre of Letymbou Village, Paphos District, hence no views, but don't let this put you off, it is a nice traditional building. Not much passing traffic. The food is excellent & there is a good choice of wine. All very good value. Service is efficient & friendly. Our 2 visits were in December & the... More
