Don't bother on Mondays despite their website's information. I suggested the website offered a more accurate message than 'open' having arranged to meet a friend for lunch the restaurant isn't open the 'manager' said he isn't responsible for the information neither friendly or helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Table setting nice. Food very basic and not best quality but at £10 for two courses cannot complain too much. Expensive to add a third course (dessert) at £4.50.

This pub had a mix of locals and tourists on the day we visited. The service was friendly and efficient and advice on the surrounding area was forthcoming.

Service was very slow, most of they party had finished main course before we had been given ours so the veg was cold, the meat wasn't fully cooked. So will definitely not recommend this place for Christmas work do

I visited as part of a work Christmas meal! I was very unimpressed, first of all we requested a table for 9 and turned up to a table laid for 8. I can only speak for my meal and mine was awful, hardly edible, chips greasy and fish riddled with bones! They made me feel sick, I left a pile... More

Found this pub on the way back home after a visit locally ,looks ordinary from outside but omg the food was amazing. The gravy was the best I've ever tasted and wanted some to take home. The service was also brilliant. Thanks for also great experience

Attractively presented meal with "Jenga" vertical style presentation- tells you something. The food was good although fairly picey for a local pub. The veg,, mange tout and french beans were heavily glazed with butter or oil which made them too greasy.

Having eaten at the New Inn soon after the original owners left and found it to be very good, we decided to return last month and had a very poor experience. My Wife had a Chicken Burger which looked and tasted as if it had been boiled as opposed to grilled. My Gammon steak was ok but the "Chips" appeared... More
