This is truely a remarkable experience! Mark (the owner) had a passionate vision and the result is a fabulous small resort nestled in the lush green mountains of Jamaica. The craftsmanship of all the rooms and main house is well done and it's as if you're staying in a treehouse. All the food prepared by the incredible chef is grown... More

Beautiful drive into the mountains beyond Negril, awesome small group tour of their working farm, and then the cooking class itself was fun, informative, and our best restaurant meal in Jamaica. Perfect capstone thing to do for a week in Negril. Would be missing out if you didn't do it while in the area.

My drive up the mountain past a sugar cane plantation prepared me for the realness of what awaited. I was blown away. The personal greeting by the owners set the pace for my entire weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the organic farm, and especially sampling the variety of fruits and vegetables grown on the property as well as... More

A Fantastic learning experience! I love Jamaica, especially Negril. The food, the people, the beach; all fabulous. But to travel into the mountains, feel completely safe, see no-till organic farming and enjoy show-cooking? I would definitely recommend leaving the all-inclusive resort to experience something this authentic. As a foodie, I truly enjoyed discovering herbs, spices and fruits growing wild on... More

We overheard some people at the Rock House Hotel talking about Zimbali and decided to give it a chance. So glad we did! When you arrive, a glass of fresh squeezed juice is immediately offered. Wear good walking shoes for the tour of this lush, gorgeous organic farm. We were treated to succulent Grapefruits and Papayas plucked from the trees... More

The Chefs made everything from scratch. The coconut sushi was awesome. They grew all of their fruits and vegetables on the farm. They where warm and engaging. Thank you so much!

I cannot comment on the accommodations but our meal was lovely. We enjoyed watching the chefs prepare our delicious meal. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience but would likely not go back because of the cost. I feel it is too high.

We did not stay at the lodge, but took the 45 min trek from seven mile beach to Zimbali's for dinner. It was simply fantastic. You take a short tour of the farm before dinner which was really cool (wear decent walking shoes, if you can. We had a rainy day so flip flops weren't impossible, but it was a... More
