Catch up lunch

Went here with a friend for lunch. The setting is amazing - beautiful old church that's been converted . The staff are lovely and can't do enough to help. The food was ok, nothing to write home about , but ok .

I visited with work colleagues and it was the first time for all of us despite me living in the area. I have to say we were all very happy with the settings, the service and the quality of the food, the waiting staff were attentive, friendly and helpful, the food was really good and it was good value. I have reied this Loch Fyne before so I summarise by saying, great setting (former church), really friendly and efficient staff, and most important of all great food, with fish the speciality.

we should call here for dinner more often than we do, because when we do occasionally dine here, we are never dissapointed. The fish is always fresh and a good choice on the menu with some specials of the day. Mussels for starters and fish and chips as a main course, both were lovely and fresh, with excellent chips. The... More

It depended what you ordered as to the level if enjoyment. The fish and chips and the steak were winners and cannot be faulted! The haggis and scallops starter was just not very tasty and endured rather than enjoyed. The smoked haddock risotto was heavy and far too salty, which meant the meal stayed with you for some time, not... More

We have eaten here many times in the past but the prices seem to have increased and this is now an expensive restaurant. Now we went Saturday evening so I presume there were no set menus but also a lot of the cheaper dishes have gone from the a la carte menu. The quality of the ingredients were all good... More

This is a wonderfully situated and decorated restaurant in a suburb of the city centre. The menu is very reasonably priced, with extremely helpful and attentive waiting staff. I would recommend the minted pea risotto as starter which was absolutely exceptional. The fish and chips main course was not as brilliant as would be expected in a fish restaurant, but... More

My partner & I went to this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. We were greeted by Peter who was a true gentleman. At our table Melissa looked after us. The food was amazing. Prices are very reasonable. An extremely enjoyable evening. Well worth a visit.

This is another of those places where I have previously eaten quite a few times but not visited for a while. Thats not a slight at all on the establishment, more that we came a bit to often at one point and needed a bit of a break plus its always on the higher side price wise for a nip... More
