Had a great pleasure to come back to this restaurant. Fantastic building and friendly staff. Real gem for Newcastle. Had couscous seafood salad to starter... Wow nice and the chorizo gives that touch of spices. Had a small glass of rosé recommend by a blonde friendly manager. My main course lobster linguine .... What can I say ... Lobster was... More

My husband surprised me with a night out to this restaurant tonight and I have to say I was impressed immediately! The building is beautiful! Wonderfully refurbished. Our waiter, Richard, was great. He was polite and attentive with being overbearing. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my food. My only complaint would be that by the time we left it... More

Service was prompt and professional, fish was cooked well. The restaurant was very warm due to free standing heaters. A pleasant atmosphere.

Asked for a table next to the kitchen because its always cold. Got a table at the side next to a radiator.....hmmm....not switched on. Look...the foods great, the staff are rushed but friendly but cold, it's bloody freezing!!! They've got space heaters, that don't have the right plug (asian table managers excuse) but we were seated next to a radiator... More

As fish lovers we thought this would be the perfect place for an anniversary dinner. We were not dissappointed. We started with a fish sharing platter which was delightful, dollowed by a beautiful fish stew, which despite it's name was delicious! The staff were very courteous, friendly, and could not do enough to help despite it being busy. Will be... More

I enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant last week with an old friend. We had a variety of excellent seafood starters and mains and ended with a fairly bland treacle tart, so I can't recommend the desserts! Service was attentive and we didn't experience the chill that previous diners had encountered. All in all a good place to dine

there is something quite decadent about dining out for breakfast midweek, so for a treat we slipped into Loch Fyne It was quiet, only one other couple, who were despite the early hour popping champagne corks!! We opted for kippers and a full English, fresh toast in a wooden basket with a butter pat topped with the loch Fyne logo... More

This restaurant is situated in a converted church with lovely ambience and very helpful staff. However, the last 3 times we have visited the heating has been inadequate and they have had to use supplementary heating which isn't always effective. For anyone who loves fish, but is allergic to shellfish, there is far too little choice, as over 90% of... More
