Slightly disappointed

We visited last Friday. It was pretty quiet for a Friday so we felt it lacked in atmosphere. We were strangely seated upstairs away from others which felt a bit isolated too. Excellent service, especially from the waitress that coped with all our needs for things to be just so. Food was good to.

We had our wedding breakfast and evening buffet here. The staff were excellent, as was the food! We were blown away that they could serve 100 people at once with great quality food, wine, and service! The venue looked beautiful. Thank you so much! Really reccomended. The O'Donnells xxx

let down tonight. Service was awful - inattentive staff, small piece of plastic in the mussels. Manager apologised but we still had to pay!! Over an hours wait for another bottle of wine. Floor out outside loos was very wet & slippy. Need to get the staff training programme rolled out

Dropped in for a meal as working in the area. Lovely building - converted church. Professionally looked after by staff - was going to go for the very cost effective 3 course menu available before 7pm, but the waitress talked me through the specials and I went for these. Good choice - crayfish followed by haddock risotto, which was lovely.... More

My wife and I went to Loch Fyne on the bank holiday weekend. It is located on Gosforth Hight Street in a former Church, the restaurant has an open Kitchen and good atmosphere. The starters were very good, my wife had lightly battered squid and I had Prawns with Chilli, Garlic and Lemon. For main course my wife had the... More
