Huge sandwiches

Very generous sandwiches with crisps and salad garnish all under a fiver. Shame there was no tuna option being a veggie it was only cheese but very very generous portions for sandwiches Friend had french stick instead of a sarni which was a little pricey at £7.50 but did look nice.

Ideal place to chill with the Mrs and take in the sunset with a nice pint of cider and a lovely portion of squid! Finished off with a nice walk along the prom :)

Pimms on tap, prosecco on tap, water from the tap. Did not try the food, the smell of the cooking was too oily. Menu looked OK- quick and easy- deep fat fried fish and chips. However did enjoy a drink on tap! Bar staff were not very cheery- it was 6pm when we call here. Family and dog friendly- good... More

Lovely setting. Great weather. Friendly staff. Very reasonable prices with generous portions. Excellent gluten free options. Very nice pulled jacket potato and hearty cheese ploughmans. Will definitely visit again.

We visited this pub for lunch primarily because it is in a great location right by the water. It appears to be extremely popular and it is child friendly. We sat outside because the weather was so good and enjoyed a great lunch. The portion size was very good and there was plenty of choice - something for everyone. My... More

A great pub. Nice food and a lovely beer garden. Dogs are allowed in the garden and the food is very nice.

Always nice reasonably priced food, gets very busy in the summer months as the view is lonely and the sun shining down always makes a lovely day out. Pub is fine to bring our buggy along to if eating outside and also dog friends. Good kids menu. Great place. Especially love the double decker sandwich and cheesy chips :)

This place certainly has a great location right on the edge of Hythe Key with great views over the River Blackwater. It is always busy with tourists due to its location however it's a shame that on entering the pub the service is far from great. Ok it's busy but the bar staff tend to avoid any eye contact and... We ate here on a Friday night, as a party of 6 arriving unannounced, for a family get-together. They accommodated us in The Port Hole and we had a window seat with a view of the water. The service was excellent and the waiter was so accommodating, polite and attentive. 4 of us had the special of seafood plate, which... More
