This place is a wonderful visit, had a a early Mother's Day meal out. Best to call in advance to reserve but overall the food was perfect as well as the view. Service was great.

This used to be a great pub with fantastic views, good beer and friendly locals. No more. If you want to listen to crying babies, great, otherwise, don't go there.

This pub became our favourite place to grab a lovely pint (great selection of beers to indulge) and a bite when in Maldon. The views from the bay windows across the water are hard to describe, yet they provide exactly what your soul needs to find inner calm and relax after a long period of hard toil in the city.... Four of us dined in the restaurant area. The menu is what you'd hope to find in a pub and the food was good value, served without delay by friendly staff.

We use this pub fairly regularly especially during the summer months as it is right beside the river. Beer is good - they have a lot of guest ales and the restaurant is also pleasant although it is now some while since we have eaten here. On our visits to the pub many people choose to eat in the bar... More

Good traditional Sunday lunch with calorific puddings ☺️ Plenty of mint sauce for the delicious roast lamb, crunchy roasties and fresh veg. Do book and if like us you do then you can get great views up the Hythe from the restaurant. This is a busy pub and busy restaurant on a Sunday well worth a visit .

we arrived at lunch timed and ordered some drinks. Tried to open a "tab". No chance. So offered the usual credit card but this did not meet the minimum amount so dug out cash. Not a good start. We then ordered some sandwiches. The total of the sandwiches and drinks would have put us well into the credit card "zone".... More

Ate here with 3 friends on a fairly busy Saturday lunchtime. We all ate mains from the specials board and we're all very pleased with our choices. 3 of our party had cheeseboard after (I opted for a chocolate brownie) and we were pleasantly surprised by the plate that arrived for £5. The choice of beer is excellent and the... More
