Ferry trip was best

The return ferry trip costs between 16 and 20eus on a modern, powerful vessel that takes just 15 mins to cross over to the Ile de Porquerolles. On a fine summer's day one has great views of the mainland coast and these lovely islands. The small harbour attracts some poor quality shops and... read more

The view here is beautiful. The water is so blue green. You can see the bottom of the sea. It is quiet and peaceful here. I had the hold place to myself.

For over 30 years, the family has been going to Porquerolles. The restaurant at la Plage d'Argent keeps surprising us by its quality and service, The view is fantastic, specially if you go for dinner as the island is then left for the ones being able to sleep there, all the daily tourists have left back. There is clearly therefore... More

Not very far from porquerolles village (about 15 Min walk), this is a beautiful beach, very clean, with turquoise water, and cafeteria with drinks, snacks and toilets

We came upon this restaurant by chance, just after midday, and while 2 of our party swam we went up to enjoy a glass of rose. Thank goodness we were early, as I think we got the last table. Those in the know book in advance. We were in no hurry, and the staff were happy for us to sit... More

There is absolutely nothing good about this restaurant! The service was slow and the waiters quite rude, we had to wait more than half an hour for the food, which was poor quality/taste and way overpriced. I wouldn't have paid half the price for that food!! It's the only restaurant on that beach, so be sure to bring your pre-packed... More

This restaurant is located 5 minutes by bike from the port. Go there to avoid the crowd and to enjoy the view... Great sea food and wine with a Mediterranean atmosphere.

This restaurant is mainly great for the view on the beach & sea. You can spend a whole afternoon, relaxing close to the sea...We just shared a seafood salad and had a bottle of wine. The salad was ok, though the bread seemed a bit old. The wine was good and erved in a nice ice-cooler. We spend at least... More
