we went as a large group (15 of us) and the service was very good. Unfortunately by the time we arrived the menu was limited to a few items but those were all delicious and the setting makes this place a 'must visit'. The inside is quite quirky and finding the toilets can be a little bit of a fun... More

Kupferkanne counts as a must-see- and taste experience for tourits on Sylt, vaunting the best cakes on the island. We were disappointed from the very beginning when we entered the location and did not feel welcome at all, but were rudely shooed around the place. The waiters don't seem to know a thing about basic politeness, let alone hosting. The... More

Forget about dinner afterwards :o) Their milk coffee is served in a bowl as big as a... More

I have heard about "Die Kupferkanne" for years and years and was very excited when I finally got to visit. The history of the the building and the inside is very unique. Outside you'll find a very nicely landscaped Kaffeegarten. The "Kuchen" is always fresh and the pieces are big, but the selection is not extensive by German standards. Our... More
