Early November the weather was glorious and we had a three hour lunch on the terrace. Such a pleasant experience. The food is actually reasonably simple but absolutely delicious. Service is efficient and gracious. Very nice wine pairing. When going to San Sebastián this is really a place to go to even though an hour drive away.

Why is this listed as a hotel? The restaurant is really interesting and makes for a memorable day trip from Bilbao or San Sebastian. Gorgeous country views and the food is simple and delicious. Everything is cooked over wood and has amazing flavors. Great wine list too.

Four of us ate here one afternoon after visiting Bilboa. We each shared the set meal, 125 euros without wine. Be prepared for the cost of food and drink. It was a very interesting with unusual food and different presentations. Glad we experienced it, but would probably not go back.
