I went here because it was close to my hotel and the reviews were great. Boy was that a mistake... Atmosphere - The place seemed nice until I sat down. The benches were so high it was uncomfortable sitting at the tables. Everything was packed in so tight as well that we had to be careful not to hit things... More

i have been at Kamiko a few times and the restaurant gets better every visit. The warming atmosphere and the excellent service make you feel like home. The quality of food is outstanding! In comparison to any other place I have tried, and trust me I am a sushi lover, this will be the best sushi you will have in... More

We always try to sample sushi in areas where fresh fish is abundant. South Florida is no exception. This restaurant puts a little Latin fusion into their not so traditional sushi dishes and the result is an amazing mix of fresh fish and flavors. We sampled grouper ceviche and cobia tiradito as well as white tuna tiradito and a spicy... More

First time in Miami... And let me tell you- the sushi here warrants a return visit- four hour car ride and all! The seaweed salad was impeccably fresh and delicious. We ordered the Amazonian roll, the coco shrimp roll and the Catalina roll. I can't tell you how different, creative and epic these were! The Amazonian roll was served topped... More

Some times one needs to drive out of town to find a pearl of a restaurant ( the rent has a lot to do with it). Anyway, we went to see some vendors in the Doral area of Miami ( between 836 and 826) and stumbled upon a small Japanese restaurant, Kamiko, we never heard of. It is run by... More

If you are looking for killer maki, this is the place to be. We drove 1.5 hours to get here and weren't disappointed. Khristian provided great service and knew the menu. Rolls here are awesome and varied. I would go to Miami again just to eat here. LOVED IT!!!

Miami is gaining a reputation as a destination for food innovation. And I don't doubt that for a bit. I have been dining in some of places around, and I must say it's quite an experience. This so-called food revolution happening in our beautiful city, has seen many of the country’s best new restaurants sprouting like mushrooms. And for those... More

It’s a small restaurant in a not so good located shopping mall, but it is worth to try. The place is nice and the food as excellent presentation. Service is also very good. It is not cheap, but you get really good food (Peruvian Japanese fusion). The Tuna tataky was the best I’ve had in Miami and the desert (donut... More

This sushi restaurant is the most recommended one!! The different combinations of fresh fish are amazing. The fussion between peruvian and japanesse gives it the most unique flavors of all.. Once you try it, you will surely get addicted to it. You will enjoy every single bite you take.. I go to the restaurant a lot and I wouldnt change... More

If I've had better sushi, I don't remember it. The food is fantastic! Fresh, innovative, food and generous portions. The rolls are at least 50% larger than traditional sushi rolls. Try the Noe and Amazonia rolls for an excellent departure from the traditional!
