Our meal was great with a salad prepared fresh. The service was very good with much effort made to make you feel at home. Check upstairs for the wine and alcohol collection and other condiments.

There is nothing to dislike here, this place is as good as it is pretty. We had the Italian family service with bubbly. As always, the food comes until everyone stops it. Hold out until later in the service when the filet starts coming. No English; go with locals, or resolve yourself to point at menu's.

You may want to fast for a few days before coming here because there is so much food to try. The grilled meat is excellent although a bit salty (typical in Brazil). Be sure to pace yourself and save room for the prime meats that come toward the end of the meal. This restaurant is also very reasonably priced for... More

We were taken there by our Brasilian hosts, and not sure what to expect. Well we had a really good lunch, there is a set menu, starting with a pasta soup which is delicious, then a whole selection of different grilled meats and sausages, and then a choice of pasta courses. A really enjoyable feast, and you can pick and... More

My wife and I have been here twice in the past year. It is the best cantina-style Italian restaurant that we have found in the Bento Gonçalves area. If you are hungry, this is the place to come. They have a couple all-you-can-eat options that are pretty reasonably priced for the quality that you get. The galeto primo canto is... More

Rustic italian cantina with typical food, good wine list and craft beers. Noisy, busy, captures the essence of Italian cuisine in the region. The annoying thing is the waiting list, but you can have a beer upstairs and check out their great wine shop.

Everywhere around here you will see the tipical italian pioneer menu (just like the "café colonial"). Try it at least once, and here you will have it at its best

My spouse and our friend both chose the typical italian meal while I went for the lighter version which did not include carne (meat). The first dish was Capaletti soup which is the best I have ever had. That was followed by a couple of salads, some fried cheese, polenta and something else that was good but we could not... More
