This is a great little coffee shop, with wonderful coffee and excellent foods. We often go to eat their sandwiches and the Cappuccinos are excellent. Karen works incredibly hard behind the scenes making all the lovely cakes and sausage rolls. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Don't go to WAITROSE CAFE walk round the corner and... More

This little bistro is the perfect pace to come and have something a little special. The ambiance is divine. I could have easily passed hours and hours in this charming space. Drinking good tea and eating even better food. Do not be fooled by its unassuming narrow purple door; inside there is much to treasure. Saxmundham has a lot to... More

I'll be honest with you. OK I'll be brutally honest with you............This place is OK. I doubt it would get a second look in most cities but it seems from the reviews I'm reading on the right that paninis and some other mediterranean fare are something of a novelty in Suffolk. I feel now that I'm being a little ungenerous... More

Coffee and a home made cake, scone or sausage roll is just a really pleasant thing to do when we're shopping in Saxmundham - it's just a better experience than Costa or Waitrose cafe - much cosier. Bob and the staff always make us very welcome. The lunch time menu is good too - really generously filled sandwiches, rolls and... More

A wonderful friendly experience. Great staff. Value for money. Freshly cooked. I had the smoked salmon open sandwich. Thick cut bread, free range eggs and fresh salad. The lemon mayonnaise complimented the salmon and there was loads of it. Take time to look around the deli. Loads of world cheeses, olives and meets. It's like stepping into another country. I... This is a real jewel of a place serving really good breakfasts and lunches. There is a good menu with daily specials and don't forget there are some excellent sausage rolls hmmm :) The inside is really nicely done with exposed bricks and a wood burning stove to keep you warm in the winter. Pop in for a just a... More

I spent 2-3 hours here with my lovely sister after a surprise visit to her. She lives in the town of Saxmundham. I booked a table at the restraint as a surprise. Food was really lovely. Well presented and tasty. There was plenty off it and price was good. We even went on to have the afternoon tea which was... More

We go here once a week for a great cup of Coffee, and what I consider to be the best home made scone in East Anglia. Good choice of food for a light lunch. The owner is very keen to serve the best!
