Have only been here for drinks before and decided spur of the moment to go for lunch and was very impressed. My partner and I both wound up having the fish and chips and it was delicious and the one piece with fries was a generous portion. Highly recommended. They have a decent variety of beer on tap and cider... More

The pub is a little worn down, but in a homey lived in way. It has nice authentic feel and is what I would expect in a public house... The beer selection is decent for sure. I only order Guinness mind you and it is always cold and fresh. For the meals....banger's and mash. They are simply the best I... More

My boyfriend and I did a last-minute road trip to Elora, and ended up here through three verbal recommendations from locals. Had an excellent meal; staff were very friendly, and they have a great selection of local beers. The ambiance was akin to a real British pub, low-key and we were able to chat (note: they do have live music... More

A nice place to watch the river, if you get a window seat. And, a good selection of beers. However, it has seen better days. Just because you want to emulate an English pub, doesn't mean you have to be worn out. The tables could use replacing and some thorough cleaning would help. The pub fare is average, but reasonably... Quaint pub on the river in Elora. We are locals who have been coming here for ages, and enjoying the wonderful food...my favourite is the lamb burger! Staff are terrific and friendly in an intimate atmosphere, plus enjoy a Celtic jam on Friday nights!

Every time I visit this pub is a great experience. The food is excellent, and has lots of variety (regular pub fair as well as Scottish and Indian) and accommodates Gluten sensitivities. They are always friendly and the pub has a ton of great history and character. It's family friendly, and also perfect for a night out with friends. It's... More

very minimal menu both food and alcohol. If you're Scottish you may appreciate the menu otherwise not great. service is usually slow, the music is too loud, you can't hear the people at your table and have a nice conversation.

Went here on a Saturday evening after a tour in the area. It was very busy with locals which is always a good sign. They have a great selection of beers including a couple of British and Microbrews on tap. The food was excellent - we tried the curry - which they offered in mild, medium or spicy - and... More

The pub has a great atmosphere and is right on the river. The staff is really friendly and attentive. Lots of choices on the menu, even a few good options for vegetarians. Amazing selection of local beers. Nice artwork on the walls.

My husband and went a few times in the winter. We found it very cozy and friendly. The food was great, I just loved the wings and the nachos. Lots of different beer choices and lots of fun stuff to look at on the walls :) The only thing I found that it was a little dark, not many windows...but... More
