Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Not the most impressive entrance going downstairs but the interior makes up for it once you are inside. Great view of the river and atmosphere. Lot's of great beer on tap from various micro breweries including The Elora Brewing Company. The food was server quickly and was very good. My wife had the... More

The fish and chips are tasty and they have great event days such as a game night and trivia. The front stairs are impassable if you have a disability but they do take away.

Great little pub that is located in downtown Elora. Beautiful view of the grand river while you have a drink or enjoy some great style pub food. Been going here for years and hosted a couple of fund raising events at the pub. You always feel at home when you experience this place. You feel like your transported to some... More

Nice atmosphere but food was horrible. Mashed potatoes were cold and meat pie tasted horrible way to much rosemary. Made me think off Rub A-535 Did mention it but waitress didn't seem to care Wont be back to bad nice location.

Well, kudos to a great local beer line-up on tap. I was finally able to try the Cuckoo for Cocoa Husks Stout by Wellington. Though the menu is extensive and covers all the usual suspects of pub favourites, none of us could rave about our orders. My lamb burger was doused in ranch dressing (too much) and tasted like it... We took my mother here for dinner on Halloween and were impressed with the food and service. My mother ordered the chicken curry which was very good. It tasted homemade and now out of a jar. I had the steak and guiness pie, which I also really enjoyed. Lots of tender meat with a crispy topping, mashed potatoes and peas.... More

Visited during the afternoon and was not too impressed, food was ok I had the Shepherds pie which was a flaky pastry topped...different but good. However bathrooms were really in need of a cleaning and the kitchen was visible from the hallway and did not look great either.

We have eaten at the Pub on different occasions and the food and service has been excellent on each visit. They made exceptions for our grandchildren on one of the visit due to allergies.
