very minimal menu both food and alcohol. If you're Scottish you may appreciate the menu otherwise not great. service is usually slow, the music is too loud, you can't hear the people at your table and have a nice conversation.

Went here on a Saturday evening after a tour in the area. It was very busy with locals which is always a good sign. They have a great selection of beers including a couple of British and Microbrews on tap. The food was excellent - we tried the curry - which they offered in mild, medium or spicy - and... More

The pub has a great atmosphere and is right on the river. The staff is really friendly and attentive. Lots of choices on the menu, even a few good options for vegetarians. Amazing selection of local beers. Nice artwork on the walls.

My husband and went a few times in the winter. We found it very cozy and friendly. The food was great, I just loved the wings and the nachos. Lots of different beer choices and lots of fun stuff to look at on the walls :) The only thing I found that it was a little dark, not many windows...but... More

My husband and I went for lunch. The restaurant is located down a flight of stairs when you go in the front entrance. There is a bar downstairs with tables. Some tables are by the window where you sit beside the Grand River. Service was prompt and efficient. We had the chicken club on a Panini bun with fresh garden... More

Great food, friendly service. Unique items on the menu...sheep's toes, I think it was called. basically a haggis egg roll...so yummy. don't knock it until you try it. It is small, but had no issue getting a table and lots on tap.

The ventilation was not very good I found the smell of malt vinegar over powering. Nice small pub. Somewhat dark inside but very much like something from Great Britain.

We went to the Shepard's Pub one evening in August - 3 adults and 3 children. We all ordered something different and everybody enjoyed their meal. I had the steak pie and couldn't eat all of it. Warmed it up next day and it was still good. Definitely must go back again.
