I sat outside on their terrace both visits and both times had the feeling that I was being an inconvenience. The second time was a Monday evening and they seemed to have run out of just about everything on the menu and on the drinks list (even cans of Guinness and cider). The food was ok but the service was... More

First of all we support local business, but when you go for lunch on a Sunday at 1pm and the restaurant is out of fish, avocado's, and French fries....how can a restaurant not have potatoes'.....something's off. The server was very slow and didn't really seem to care that they were out of food, she just said order something different. I... More

We visited this restaurant and were dissatisfied. The atmosphere of the outdoor patio is great and has a nice view of the water but the service and food is lacking. It took our waitress a very long time to even provide us with the menus and then take our order. The restaurant was not busy either. My mom ordered the... More

We went for our anniversarry. Should have gone to the keg. The food was poorly prepared and way over priced. Im pretty sure my chicken pesto was frozen.

The Cellar was able to accommodate 10 us for a late evening dinner. The food and local beers were really good, a nice choice for the end of a long day.

We enjoyed our lunch there however there seemed to be a trend with Cesar dressing which rubbed me the wrong way. I mean shrimp with Cesar dressing was hard to eat for me. But the soup was fantastic!

A few friends and I visited The Cellar this past weekend while in town for The festival. Service was very friendly and our server brought us our food at a reasonable time. My shrimp linguine was DELICIOUS and the Prime rib was a hit as the gentlemen said. We will surely return, the patio sits right along the river and... More

My husband and I went there for an evening out. We try to checkout different restaurants every Saturday evening. When we first walked up to the outdoor patio it was all the cobwebs that caught my attention. They could at least sweep them down every morning. I ordered the vegetarian pasta because the avocado cream sauce sounded appealing. I did... More

Three of us for supper on a Sunday night...we enjoyed our stay on this patio. It was quite full and the other diners all seemed like nice folks; in fact, we struck up a conversation with another table. It's that kind of place. There's an inside and an outside; of course on a lovely summer evening, there was nobody inside... More

Past reviews of this restaurant are very mixed, so we were a bit ambivalent about eating there. We neede have been! The food was excellent, promptly, efficiently and cheerfully served. Our table was on the patio, so we ate to the accompaniment of the sound of water -- nice! We both had the soup of the day, a chilled melon... More
