Seeing the name and the restaurant's menu brought back memories of the famous Woodlands restaurant that used to be in Juhu Mumbai (and for some years at Goradia hotel in Shirdi). But only the name is common. South Indian food is below average in taste, definitely over rated and very expensive. Service was quite slow even though there was more... More

We had dal roti, palak, and it was good fare. We went to this place again for breakfast and had idli and vada which was good.

I had south Indian lunch here and the taste was good but definitely very expensive. The limited thali cost was Rs.195. This is expensive for a limited plate. Will not cost that much even in South India.

The place is right across the street from Gate 1 of the shirdi temple. Serves good South Indian vegetarian food. The chutney was awesome - far better than the watery mess you get in most other places. Reasonably quick service. But slightly more expensive than what I had expected.

We had break fast here, The south indian food was great - we had Meduwada's & Dosas - the Meduwadas are a must to have. They are crisp & tasty served with hot sambhar & chutni. The breakfast other than south indian dishes is not that great. Would advise to try out their Meduwadas.
