Birthday Meal

A warm welcoming. With an outstanding genuine care for customers. Lovely décor & amazing staff. Our meals where out of this world, packed with taste and great presentation. My girlfriend and I had a amazing evening and we would both highly recommend. Price was great too!

We visited the Moody Mare on a Saturday lunchtime. Just off the seven mile lane, the pub was quiet with only a handful of cars in the car park. The landlord and landlady as well as the bar staff were very welcoming and friendly - providing polite, courteous and engaging service throughout. Our sandwiches (fish finger with tartare sauce and... More

This is a little gem of a place, it's recently been rebranded the Moody Mare, which suits my personality if I end up having a bad dining experience. However, I've not been disappointed yet and I've been back 4 times in the last few weeks! Often when you dine out and have a restrictive diet, it takes forever wading through... More

Group of seven of us Visited moody mare on Friday night, had a great night. Food was as always excellent, service as good and the entertainment (Rat Pac) was good fun. Will go back again.

we decided to visit on a Friday night, bringing friends along as we enjoyed the food so much the last couple of times we have visited. The staff as before were very attentive and the food was again of good quality. However, there was a girl singing live music, she couldn't have looked more bored if she had tried! she... More

My friends and I used to come to the Beeches fairly regularly and have really enjoyed the food and the live entertainment, but for some reason had not re-visited for some years. We were sent vouchers for a 25% discount off the food and we all thought it would be very nice to return to what had now become the... More

I am not quite sure if it was your time piece or ours that was out but according to our booking audit trail your starters were sent to your table at 830, shortly after one of your table came to see me to complain about not having a wine list. As i explained to the lady because you had pre... More

My husband and I visited The Moody Mare (hate the name!), formerly The Beeches, on a Wednesday evening. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. We had come on the same night as their bi-monthly pudding club, which I may have to try! Although it wasn't overly busy thank goodness. The food was really lovely, I had lamb, my husband... More

I have been to 'The Beeches' twice before it changed it's name to 'The Moody Mare' and received an offer via text for 25% off the bill, so my husband and I thought we'd try it out again. On first impressions we could see that they have turned what had been their refurbished restaurant into a Gastro kind of pub... More

Dropped in for a quick drink - it was so good we are still here. Lovely choice of real ales friendly staff and a warm welcome. Very busy Sunday lunch and for people dropping in they were open about the length of wait before they could eat. Seems booking for Sunday lunch a must. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Wifi... More
