Really cool restaurant with nice typical Margarita musicians playing romantic songs. Great place to take a loved. Lovely waiters. Great food and nice wine selection. 1 WARNING - the house wine served by the glass sucks bug time! Take a bottle.

Cozy restaurant with great dishes. It doesnt have a huge range of option, 5-6 choices for each course which makes it easier to choose what to eat. And they all sound delicious. We were 5 and ordered different dishes and we were all satisfied with what we got. If you are ever around you should definetly give it a try!

My husband and I go to Margarita often and love eating out. Casa Caranta is definitely our favourite restaurant on the island. The food is to die for - a great fusion between Italian and Venezuelan dishes. The atmosphere is beautiful, both inside and outside. There is often live music inside at night, so keep that in mind. Had some nice Vietnamese wrap for appetizer, tuna and avocado salad, good pastas, OK tira de asado, great fish-dorado and nice coconut cheesecake. We all enjoyed our meal here. Excellent service: fiendly and efficient.

Went there three times in two days. Both owners are present most of the time, overseeing service, mingling with guest. Wonderful experience each time. Had a different entree each time and was never disappointed. Will be back!

This is without a doubt the best restaurant in the island. Firstable the atmosphere is really cool, the food is good in general, but my catalana fish wasn't really tasty. Antonio is an awesome waiter, very professional and an excellent person. Ask for the fettuccines they are the best here...

I have been to this restaurant twice. It's expensive, but worth it. The food is great - can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It is expensive. There is live entertainment some nights and the ambiance is wonderful. The restaurant is housed in a treasured historical house on the island.

Casa Caranta is located in the heart of Pampatar, attractively decorated with local artwork and colors. It is open from 7pm every day of the week. This being only our second time in South America, we didn’t know better than to show up for dinner at around 7:10pm. The hostess charmingly told us “we don’t open until 7pm, come back... More
