Lovely Sunday Lunch on the porch with exquisite food

Being almost full on the inside, we opted to sit on the quiet outside. We ordered cannelloni nero di sepia with lobster - just yum! As seconds we had pork belly and chicken in mushroom sauce. Presentation was nicely elaborate and the taste matched. This was my second visit. During my first i... read more

A place renowned for Maltese rabbit which provides tasty fried rabbit, cholesterol laden. Spaghetti with rabbit sauce is a rip off, pasta overdone. Wine list provides an expensive choice. Seating not comfortable. Overall overpriced.

A few weeks ago joined a group of 8 friends who organised a meal there. This time it was not for rabbit but a "fine dining" experience! Many starters were prepared for us including 2 oytsers each. Food was acceptable but the concept was not quite right dining like the ambience was not right for that type of food. The... More

I have been going to this place for rabbit for quite a long time, however this is the first time I am writing a review. I went there again last Friday with my work colleagues, we were started off with dips, aioli and bigilla (a locally made bean paste) served with water biscuits and crusty fresh bread. We were also... This is one of the first place I've been to since I came to Malta a decade or so.. for Fenkata. Last night, we were in the area and end up in this place. We went for the usual .. started with snails and dips. Spaghetti with rabbit sauce then the FENKATA. The portion is too much for 2 people...... More

After visiting friends in Malta they implored me to try the rabbit dishes on offer at Charlie's inn. It was a good experience with service acceptable; the food was delicious with my dish seasoned to perfection. Would recommend.

We were a group of three couples. We all have travelled a lot and experienced a good amount of restaurants, but this meal was excellent. We started with the usual snails, bigilla and aglioli, and then we got the fresh oysters. We were then presented with a mousse of fresh tuna beautifully laid on a fine piece of toasted bread.... Having Maltese parents, I admit I was a bit skeptical of any restaurant preparing a rabbit dinner that could compare to my Mamma's home cooking, but I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with my dinner. The rabbit was tender and fall-off-the-bone cooked to perfection! When ordering I requested gluten-free pasta which they were pleased to oblige, and they took... More
