My wife and I went and tried this restaurant as I was determined to try the more local menu of rabbit. To start with the restaurant is more modern inside than the exterior, the staff friendly and helpful, explaining the various dishes. We were brought a dish with snails and two dips, which included some local bread, I actually enjoyed... More

Been coming here for years and will be coming for many more! Their rabbit is just insane, way better than anything you will find in Mgarr and they have the real spaghetti with gravy and not in the thick salsa! Always a treat to visit well done - for the non rabbit eaters (fools) the chef is pretty much a... More

Charlie's is consistently good for rabbit. We have the snails and dips to start, then the pasta with rabbit and lastly the rabbit and chips. There is always a lot of food. This year the place has been redecorated and has tablecloths so it looks much smarter but thank goodness the food is still the same.

This has to be the best place for rabbit! The ravioli filled with rabbit are divine and cooked to perfection. Service is also very efficient and always with a smile :). I definitely recommend Charlie's Inn!

A place renowned for Maltese rabbit which provides tasty fried rabbit, cholesterol laden. Spaghetti with rabbit sauce is a rip off, pasta overdone. Wine list provides an expensive choice. Seating not comfortable. Overall overpriced.

A few weeks ago joined a group of 8 friends who organised a meal there. This time it was not for rabbit but a "fine dining" experience! Many starters were prepared for us including 2 oytsers each. Food was acceptable but the concept was not quite right dining like the ambience was not right for that type of food. The... More

Being almost full on the inside, we opted to sit on the quiet outside. We ordered cannelloni nero di sepia with lobster - just yum! As seconds we had pork belly and chicken in mushroom sauce. Presentation was nicely elaborate and the taste matched. This was my second visit. During my first i tasted for the first time nero di... More
