Built in 1495. This wonderful pub in rural england is on the outskirts of the Suffolk National Park. We have spaces for overnightamping and caravaning. We belong to BRITSTOP & The Caravan Club of Great Britain. We offer the best of local real ales and ciders or just drop in for a tea or coffee. Our resteraunt offers a very extensive menu of pub fod and snacks. We are only a short walk from the River Waveney, 20 minutes from the coast, 5 miles from Beccles.

regular meeting place

Thank you to the new proprietors who, at very short notice, provided us with a room in which to hold our meeting when our regular venue suddenly became unavailable. The Three Horseshoes will now be our regular venue.

Met here with a group of friends at lunchtime. Really friendly place with good quality freshly cooked food at a reasonable price. Chatting to the owners they told us they had not been there long and this was there first pub venture. This type of traditional old pub hardly exist these days but it was good to see a lot... More

We held my Dad's wake celebration here, and it was fantastic! The landlord Brian, and his lovely family are brilliant hosts, and made everyone feel extremely welcome. The buffet food was fresh and tasty, the pub setting is cozy with a log burning fire, and the prices are very reasonable. They enabled us to give my Dad the send off... More

Took my wife here for her birthday on 23/01/2016 made to feel very welcome by the landlord & landlady and the dog Elmo! We both had 3 courses and a drink each the bill was only £44 very good value for outstanding food and service even gave my wife a drink on the house for her birthday. Lovely country pub... More

Such a lovely, friendly and welcoming pub. The owners are very cordial and the food is very good. Both my husband and I eat out quite a lot and would not hesitate to recommend The Three Horseshoes to stop off for a drink and especially a meal. The pub welcomes families and is very child and dog friendly

Very good food and a great welcome for the visitors and their dogs. We found the service by the new owners excellent and the food and drink really good. The country pub atmosphere was very welcoming. We will certainly visit again for other meals.

Visited today with a few friends and had Sunday roast. The food was fantastic, the lamb was lovely and tender with veg done to perfection. Really cannot fault the pub, food or the staff, there was a warm friendly atmosphere as soon as we entered. We will definitely return.

We called in for a drink today and found the staff very welcoming, even though they were busy serving Sunday lunches (which looked lovely, but we already had other plans for lunch unfortunately). The pub is very olde worlde and there was an open fire which looked very inviting. It's great to see country pubs like this doing a good... More

Considering the landlord and his family have only owned this property for a month, this was very very good. My family and I were greeted with a very warm and hospitable welcome. The home cooked food was excellent, nicely prepared and well presented with passionate customer service. Shame, I don't live nearer but The Three Horseshoes is definitely on my... More
