the food, wine and service are all excellent- but what i particularly like about this restaurant is that they are staying "honest", and not trying to knife and fork more tables in than the place can really cope with. The spinach spaghetti was awesome and the monk fish and crab and pork dishes were excellent- yet the best bit was... More

This restaurant is on the first floor on top of the deli run by the same owner. It is run by a Spanish equipe, from Catalunia. It is serving delicious, innovative and creative, Spanish dishes. High quality, delicious and value for money. The owner provides personal advice on what is on offer and on the best food-wine combination. Informal and... More

If you are tossing up between a pub lunch and Baileys .. it is Baileys hands down. Delicious menus ( I went back twice to be sure ) at very reasonable prices.. who gets a 3 course lunch for 11.50 these days .. I had the Calves liver first time round and a sous vide Lamb roast the second.. served... More

What a wonderful little place. Saturday night visit with a friend. We were a little late to our table, this didn't seem to be a problem and my friend and I were welcomed. The menu is short and very unusual for the area, fine dining and interesting combinations. The service was a little relaxed as I think the waitress was... More

We ate two weekends in a row, largely due to it being my 40th. Superb meal both times, topped off by fabulous service and unforgettable wine. We will most definitely be back!

We ate at upstairs at baileys on recommendation from Karen and Alan at the Saltgate House B&B, we couldn't have been happier with this recommendation! The food was of the highest quality from the lobster linguine starter thoroughly enjoyed by my fiancé to the Spanish lamb main which fell off the bone merely by looking at it. I can not... More

I have wanted to visit for over a year, but have been unable to make the 100 mile journey on a Fri or Sat night due to work commitments. However, finally made it and the experience did not disappoint! Service, ambience all very good. Food was great. Highlights included the octopus, the iberico pork and the beef fillet with foie... What excellent cooking. You don't often find food like this and certainly not at these prices. Lovely smallish portions - perfect for lunch. Will definately be back.

Met up with a couple of friends and decided on Baileys. I have been in before to buy food from their deli and were extremely satisfied with the products. I have sat and had coffee downstairs but decided this day to go upstairs. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious...
