Four plates of lovely food. Fish cakes lovely . Duck pancakes lovely. Butternut goat's cheese and spinach fantastic. Scallops wonderful. Great service . A very happy family.

We booked an upstairs table for a Saturday lunch. Staff were extremely friendly and polite, we ate off the light lunch menu and enjoyed our mains, the puddings were great and whole bill was under £32. Extremely good value for really good food, well presented with good customer service. We would definately eat there again.

Sooooooo disappointed - anniversary dinner - main course cold, duck beast no flavour, red cabbage tasteless - sauce - joke - to be fair the restaurant did not charge for the main courses and offered other things but I am one of those people that when it is 'just not right' then my evening is ruined - soooooooooo disappointed

Found this restaurant by chance and had a meal when on holiday with family. The service was excellent. The food was good. We want upstairs which seemed to have more space and a better atmosphere for a relaxed meal.

We were recommended to eat here by Saltgate house b & b, and were not disappointed. The service was first class and the food of a very high standard. It made a refreshing change to have a such a varied menu.
