Open all year, restaurant l'Anais is a hidden gem in the sud-Minervois. The superb period decor takes you back to Paris in the 1920's although the regular music nights have a more modern theme. Enjoy a glass of local wine at the pewter bar or indulge your tastebuds with the famous crème brûlée in the restaurant!

Hiden in the small village of Ginestas, this bistro type , reflecting the time of dancing cafe, is a gem. Food is good, service is very warm.

We found this charming restaurant in a delightful village. At this time of year it isn't easy to find good lunch places. We ordered the fish and chips. Very generous proportions.

We thought when we came to live in France that we would never crave fish and chips or roast beef but we do and it is always a treat to go here.

We had a very good lunch here after it was recommended by friends. What strikes you first is the wonderful decoration, murals in the style of Degas and Lautrec. The setting is very pleasant both indoors and out. The service was friendly and efficient. We had the 3 course set menu at E15 and were surprised both by the portion... More

We rented a house in this small village, so frankly didn't have a lot of dining options if we didn't want to drive. We were pleasantly surprised by L'Anaïs. In fact, it was some of the best food we had during our 2 weeks in Spain and France! We ended up going 3 times. It's not a particularly fancy place,... More
