Great Hidden Gem!!

What a Great hidden spot, tucked next to City Hall ( government building), thru a tiny artesian mall, and upstairs!! And Voila!! From upstairs you watch live music down below and on the upper deck. The drinks and food is quite good. But service that night was slow! There are open pit fires going to... read more

We had dinner here our second night in town, and we weren't disappointed. I ordered the stroganoff steak and my girlfriend had the antique chicken and both were delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked. The setting was quaint and beautiful, very unique from a foreigners perspective. We would recommend checking it out. It's a very neat spot.

We tried plaintain toasts with shrimp and tenderloin with mozzarella cheese. The food was very good. The menu was written in Spanish and English (great!). The hose hosts 5 restaurants and has live guitar music. Wines were also good. Nevertheless the crew was, in general terms, slow and not warm.

We chose this restaurant based on location and menu. They were under staffed by the server was friendly enough. Two of us had good meals and two were bad. My wife ordered a salad which on the menu said it had tomatoes, bell pepper, cheese, olives, lettuce, onion. Instead what came was a plate of lettuce with shredded carrot and... More

The meat was cooked on a wood fire and that gave a special flavour. I recommend the terrace upstairs that is very nice.

I have been a few times in this restaurant and I have to admit that it has improved every time. The location is great, close to the "plaza de Villa de leyva" and everytime the life music is better. I recommend a Dinner in the second flor and finish the wine close to the chimney...

Really a lovely place, great salsa band. We had drinks, you must try a Canelazo, a warm drink with cinnamon & aguardiente.

The trout was overcooked and dry, my lomo was chewy and almost cold. The rice was already spoilt and just refried. While eating we were observed first by a cockroach and then followed by a slug lurking beside our table. It took ages for the waiter to bring the bill. The only good point about this place is the atmosphere... More

The food wasn't excellent, actually my "lomo mozzarella" was over cook but what bother me was the service! We had a starbox bonus and the waitress took at least ten minutes to gave us a table (the place was almost empty) and we asked for a water an it took forever to get it, the same with de wine and...
