This Italian restaurant has some nice wines on offer, and a good selection of dinners. I was not so impressed by the food, but it wasn't at all bad. My spaghetti bolognese was yummy but the portion was tiny. My girlfriends spinach and cheese tortellini was decent, but not great, and again small portion. What saved the experience was the... More

Some relatives recommended this restaurant as was of their favorites in Villa de Leyva. It is not only inviting and cozy, but the food was simply amazing. Everything from the antipasti, to the pasta, to the main courses. One of us ordered the chicken lasagna, one the peppered beef, one the chicken with blue cheese sauce and it was all... More

For Italian food in the middle of Colombia, this was decent fare. The menu, consisting mostly pizza's and pastas, was largely cooked to order. Service was relaxed in this informal setting. While we would not rush to return to this eatery, we did not see more tempting alternatives in this touristy town.

We arrived late to the restaurant and there were few people this Friday night, but for a meal! We chose our respective pizza - a Margaritha and a Quattro statgioni - and got food that could not have been better in an Italian village. A little disappointing that they did not have Italian red wine (too expensive to import?), but... More

After reading the great reviews, we had to stop in. The place is not cheap, as wine bottles started near US $40 (70,000 COP). We had an antipasti plate and a pizza, and I was very underwhelmed by the quality. The pizza had fresh basil, but the crust was burned, the tomatoes tastes as if they were out of a... More

The ambiance is awesome, the place is well located, and above all the price is very reasonable! If you are looking for a nice Italian restaurant in Villa de Leyva I'd recommend this one.

As we were stripping down the Calle, La Ricotta caught our eyes right away. The family who owns the restaurant did a really great job with the decoration and made us feel very welcomed. We had a great typical Italian meal (hard to find in South America!!!!) with great wine. The prices were very reasonnsble, by our North American standards.... More

This is a great example of really italian menu in south america. My husband said that his Pizza, was really good. also I saw... More
