We come from Brampton, Ontario, It was a beautiful night, and we -2 couples- decided to go to the Bridges Tavern for drinks. We sat on the back lawn and watched the birds, rabbits and the children play, all with a scenic view of the water >>>>beautiful!! The service was very friendly and quick, the price is very very reasonable.... More

Easy access for cyclists from the Georgian Trail. The food is tasty and good value. A little disappointed in the beer selection, seems they were out of the local ones... someone messed up an order?

I cannot comment on the food since the only thing I have 'eaten' here is of the liquid variety....That said, I love the live entertainment and even when the place is packed the bartenders do an excellent job at giving you prompt service. Worth checking out for sure!

A group of us were skiing in Collingwood, and decided to mix it up and not go into the Village. We ordered a cab from the Orchard at Craigleith, heading to Bridges. We pulled up and it looked dead, but after walking in the door, not the case. The bar area was full with a (what felt like 20 piece... More

Went for dinner pre-festivities. Had a great server, Greg, who really put up with a lot of the guys shenanigans. Appetizer of wild mushroom and leek bruschetta was delicious! Two of us had the NYE special of tenderloin. Mine was perfect, but my friend's was a bit overdone. I believe the guys had the rainbow trout, which they both enjoyed... More

Been there a few times in small groups and large crowds and they are great at handling both. Food has been great. Good selection on tap. Especially good in the summer with patio and lawn seating.

This is the last of the good weather for awhile. I am working in Canada for two weeks and the Thanksgiving weekend fell during this time. Having a weekend here I was told to go to the Georgian Bay. We stopped at Bridges because the weather was 20C and the patio looked inviting. Great views and food and drink. I... More

You Gotta Eat Here... Recently I was re-visiting family in Thornbury, Ontario and while there, I ate at Bridges for my second time. This restaurant has a very interesting history but its the food that keeps bring me back. Extremely tasty pub fare, the Mac 'n' Cheese and chicken wings are amazing. Hanging out on the back grass near the... More
