Cute place to stop for a pint!

My husband and I dropped in to the Dam Pub for a beer around the lunch hour. Loved the atmosphere and everyone was friendly. Price for lunch was a bit pricey but seems the norm in the Collingwood area.

I went here for the first time for NYE. I rarely like to try new places unless recommended by someone. Was recommended by my bestfriend so I gave it a try, didn't want to risk a crappy NYE dinner. Glad I did because the food was really delicious being a big foodie. Had the scallop as apps, chicken and prime... More

We had a family outing today and had lunch at The Dam Pub. It was great. Try the haggis - i had it sloppy joe style. Shepherds pie is delicious. The building has so much character and staff are very efficient and friendly. Can't wait to give it another try. Don't miss the bread pudding for dessert.

We went to the Dam Pub after a long drive to Thornbury. It was a short walk from our hotel. The atmosphere is awesome, an old house with lots on the wall to look at, including 700 bottles of whiskey!! The food was fantastic, sheppard pie, curry vegetables and the Friday night tradition lamb shank. Great service.

Thankfully, we could walk from our timeshare to The Dam Pub as the snow was blowing at a good clip. We arrived just before noon and James welcomed us at the door. There was just one other couple at the bar, but within 20 minutes the place was hoping...and James was working by himself. But as usual, the service was... More

Had a very nice dinner and experience here. It looked like a reservation would definitely be necessary as it is very popular for good reason. My non-scotch drinking wife asked for a scotch recommendation from their 700 brands, and was very pleased with the choice and I with the price. There were at least 4 fish dishes available that evening... More

This was a lovely restaurant to reward yourself with comfort food after a day outdoors. We happened to go on the special night when two can dine for $49 as well as a whiskey tasting night! ((lucky we had a reservation). Although we were warned the service might be slow because of how busy they were, it was actually quite... More

The atmosphere is great, food is wonderful and the selection of whiskey is out of this world! Definitely a great place to stop by. I had the brunch (scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries, pacific salmon, fruit and home made banana bread). Tons of food and I loved every bite! You won't leave hungry!

Stopped in at the Dam on a trip to Blue Mountain - what a great find! Wonderful atmosphere, an astounding collection of whiskeys (700+), and great traditional British fare. We had the haggis, steak & kidney pie, and bread pudding for dessert. Great portions, good prices! We will definitely visit again when we're in the area. The Dam is a... More

We planned to go to Blue Mountain for our wedding anniversary, but we looked for a good place to eat, and this one came on top! So we went and we loved everything about it, the greeting when we got there, our waiter, the food, this cozy place is a wonder place for special celebrations!
