Great way to end a day out with my wife. Great food, great line of whiskey, lots of food, served by people who love what they do. Thanks Stephanie

We try to stay in Thornbury at least one week a year and we always go here to eat. Food, drink, atmosphere, staff, just everything is fantastic here! Wish it was closer or we went up there more often but it is always a treat no matter what!

We were recently in Thornbury and decided to check out the Dam Pub. We come to Thornbury every year, but the first time we've ever been to this restaurant. Excellent food! My son and I had the wings, I also had their soup and my husband had their fish and chips. None of us could complain about anything there --... More

Had the two can dine for $49. The Caesar salad was crisp and tasty, my bangers and mash was hardy and tasted great and my husband's Shepherd's Pie was good once he got past the overly hot temperature... steaming hot was an understatement! The bread pudding was a disappointment, The berries and custard was yummy but the pudding was gelatinous.... More

We were very impressed with the quality of the dishes we had. Not what you expect from a pub. Bread pudding is to die for. We will return for sure.

There were other options but we chose to wait; It was while waiting that I had to listen to some 3dlr food... More

I came to the Dam Pub with no expectations and found myself in love. The food was amazing. The prime rib was mouth wateringly good and everything was cooked to perfection. You could tell the chef has a real passion for their work. I did get a chance to meet Suzette the chef and I must say her incredible personality... More
