My Favourite Place!

You haven't lived until you've had the lamb shanks for dinner and chocolate paté for dessert. You HAVE to go there if you find yourself in the area.

We decided to eat here since we saw it on the TV show. We were not disappointed in the least. Excellent portions of food, and it was DELICIOUS! I had the ribs and my wife had the steak and kidney pie. We reserved about 6 weeks before only because it was my wife's birthday and I had the day planned... More

Were visiting friends in Collingwood and decided to have dinner for 4. We called to reserve and they recommended we show a little earlier than requested as there was a large party coming in, and they didn't want us to be inconvenienced. The drink selection is great - we sampled a couple unique beers. They provided a sample of various... More

Visiting Thornbury for the week and ate twice at the Dam Pub. The service and food (and drink) were so good the first time (Danielle was our server and was fantastic with great suggestions) we had to come back with visiting family. Kayla was our server for round two and was friendly, helpful and attentive. Both times the pub was... More

My new favourite place! It more than lived up to the great praise from my well-travelled friend. With a warm and welcoming feel both from the staff and other patrons, the inviting feeling really draws you in. The food is outstanding, and I will be looking for every excuse to get back as soon as possible. Expect the very best,... More

Quality ingredients, good portions and great atmosphere. Their staff care about how their food is made and presented. Their onion rings are the best I have ever tasted! Good selection of local beers. Whiskey lovers will enjoy their crazy selection of whiskey

Had ribs last week at Montana in Woodstock, they weren't bad but the ribs here tonight are to die for. Chef Suzette's rub was excellent and not overpowering, sweet and spicy at the same time. The portion was more than enough plus the apple salad/slaw was refreshing, different, paired well with the spice from the ribs

Yummy food for different tastebuds in a Scotish ambience. Whiskey lovers will enjoy the wide variety of different malts. British cuisine as well as local North American favourites.

We visited after a Sleighride near Blue Mountains (i.e. we were frozen!) and this cute pub welcomed us and warmed us with a hot toddy. It has a spunky charm - the only thing it is missing is a nice fireplace and hearth.
