Excellent food and service! I went with my daughter and 4 year old great-nephew. We sat on the patio to eat. It is a quaint place to take the time to sit and chit chat. No, they did not have a kids menu. My great-nephew loves spagetti, which they do serve to children. No, they do not have a kid's... More

On Sunday June 29th, we arrived for our 8 p.m. post golf reservation, only to find the town in darkness due to a power outage after the storm. We thought they would be closed, as everything else in town appeared to be closed, but the hum of a generator made us hopeful. We were warmly welcomed by candlelight and assured... More

We looked forward to eating at the Dam pub. We were a party of 5 children and 8 adults and had booked in advance. After ordering we waited over an hour and 40 minutes before we saw the food. The children had to be given 3 lots of bread and butter to keep them happy. Some of the party enjoyed their... More

Mussel madness, prime rib and huge yorkshire pudding, lovely atmosphere, charming patio, friendly staff and patrons. Fine dining at great prices. We will be making this a regular dining stop.

After reading all of these wonderful reviews, I almost feel like there must be something wrong with us! Our party of 15 (9 adults and 6 kids) stopped in on our way through town around 1:30 midweek. The entire restaurant was empty aside from 2 tables on the patio. When I said that we were a party of 15 the... More

I am very sorry to hear that you found the service slow and feel we are not a family restaurant, but I feel the need to allow others reading this to hear our side of the story. After studying into the days sales and times, and chatting with my manager of over 6 years, you are absolutely right, it would... More

Seriously, they have 700 different whiskies, and the food is amazing. Also great staff! The bread pudding is so tasty, not to mention the chocolate pate. Soup was good too. Did I mention over 700 whiskies, at good prices?

Myself and my SO went to this Pub at Random while visiting the area. The atmosphere was fantastic and our server Patti was an absolute doll! My SO loved his meal of 'Bangers&Mash' and I was quite satisfied with my Salad, just a little on the small side but delicious nonetheless! The only downfall is that they have no dairy/gluten... More
