Le Piment is located right over a steep hill from Salines or up past the rotary out of St. Jean depending on where you're coming from. The open air restaurant has a hip vibe, good service and a nice fusion menu.

We regularly visit Le Piment when on St Barths and called in three times during our last stay. In particular this is where we watched the World Cup Final, and although the bar was heaving the staff managed to keep the drinks flowing for everyone. As the match went to extra time they had to get extra beer from storage... More

There is nothing exceptional about this place but everything works nicely. The burgers were good and the atmosphere was nice. Most of the other customers seemed to be local. The only complaint I have is about the location: it's next to busy road.

We have been coming here for 16 years. The newest owner has had it for about 8 years. Many changes during that time. We still love to come here for lunch of burgers, etc. It is always fun and full of people and during the World Cup has a huge screen tv televising the mid-day match. BUT, mostly locals know... More

Loved the food, drinks & people! Nice mix of locals & tourists and a very friendly staff! Don't miss this place which is owned & operated by a very nice local...and they are open late, too! Thank you MIMI!!!

We've visited and eaten at Le Piment every year for 10 years, and never got a substandard meal, but not this year. They used to have a chalk board with specials, we didn't see that this year and the customer count was low as well. Usually wall to wall people. Maybe we hit an off day, we'll be back.

We ordered two chikcken burgers. We expected to get chicken fillet, but got fried chicken stuffing. This was not good. We notified the staff but was told that it would be that way. We recomend you to order something else.

We loved Le Piment when we traveled to St. Barths on our honeymoon. We ended up going there for one reason or another pretty much every single day...whether it be for lunch, dinner or just drinks. We quickly began recognizing the locals that would stop by every day and we loved chatting with them about their life and the daily... More

This was the only place open on a Monday night in the local area and we thought it would only be tapas. But there was a range of meals, best described as good pub meals. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced and friendly service.

It is set in the small shopping village where you can perch on a stool, watch cars and people, and enjoy a cocktail between shopping or while just passing through. Open air ambience with a rustic feel. We did not eat there but they do have tapas and some table seating as well.
