Let me say that we only had a pizza here so i cannot comment on the rest of the food. As for the pizza I am afraid it's a thumb down. First of all, for an Italian, a pizza must, repeat must be cooked in a wood oven, never electric. So when we arrived I noticed that the wood oven... More

Outside tables, as popular with locals as with visitors. Two or three large family groups made for a convivial atmosphere. Excellent food and service.

As we particularly enjoyed Scicli town, we decided to eat here on our last evening. We enjoyed the excellent location, pleasant atmosphere and even a local musician playing guitar. Prices were reasonable, so we both had 2 courses. The pistachio pasta was absolutely delicious, as was their pizza. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Found this restaurant towards the end of our trip, but were so pleased with it that we went back two nights in a row. It is situated in the delightful Via Penna and has a large outdoor seating area in the street opposite and in front of a lovely baroque church. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and as... This was the first of 4 recommendations our hotel gave us for evening meals that we tried and was a lovely experience great food from seafood and pasta dishes to pizzas probably the most authentic of atmospheres as well as several obvious "locals" were eating along side us and were very friendly. The wine list was also the cheapest we... More

Lovely selection of antipasti and delicious pasta with baby clams, but I wasn't so impressed with the spatula fish (in breadcrumbs?) which was very dry. Staff were very friendly and prices reasonable. Closed on Mondays.

By far the best food, and the best atmosphere of the three restaurants we tried in Scicli. We had eight different courses over two visits and every one of them was excellent - a special mention for both the sepia spaghetti and the ravioli. The Sea Bass was twice as big and twice as nice as the offering from La... More

Quore Matti sits just down from the lovely piazza, now famous for being the questura in Montalbano. It opens early enough to cope with wandering foreign tourists and has some cool artwork and photos inside. The entrance transforming from a traditional trattoria into a more romantic light white space. The menu covered pizzas and pasta. The caponata starter was pretty... More
