We were VERY excited to try Gringos after the rave reviews on Tripadvisor, but were sorely, sorely disappointed. While the food was lackluster, the mice and roaches really put it over the top. First, the food: Eager to break the chain of pad thai, we ordered the Chili Con Queso dip and a strawberry margarita. The margarita was good, but very... More

Firstly, the nachos were delicious but the salsa wasn't as good. It started getting better as we added the chipotle sauce. The staff were extremely kind because they gave me fresh and delicious lemon juice which wasn't even on the menu. Next the bean enchilada was impressive and the combo which included 1 chicken taco and 2 enchiladas was great... More

Found this restaurant last year for my birthday. Went back this year and one of my birthday banners was still up. Good memories. Food here is plentiful, very tasty and great value. Don't think we finished a meal: eyes bigger than belly! Strawberry and Blue Raspberry Margaritas went down very nicely. Look this place up - you won't be disappointed

Drinks and food are great, as are the staff in this little cantina. The service is always good, we have been coming here for 4 years.

Had a lovely meal at Gringos. The atmosphere was great with the music, staff dressed up and giving out somberos and taking pictures. The fajitas came out sizzling, and although the expensive choice of the menu, were delicious! The homemade jalapeno sauce was also a hit!

I first visited this restaurant in 2005 and remember it being excellent then! It is just as brilliant now! I had emailed the restaurant prior to my visit to enquire about gluten free options and received a prompt response from the owner reassuring me that my requirements could be catered for and informing me of the options available to me.... I got the vegetarian fajitas and my other friend got the burrito! Best Mexican food we have ever had, hands down! The price is definitely expensive for Thailand, but the serving portions are worth it! We couldn't eat all of our food because there was so much! So delicious! The owner was extremely helpful and recommended sauces for our dishes... More

We ate here two times during our stay on Koh Samui. The food was the best Mexican food we have ever tasted. Nachos and Fajitas were great! The staff members were incredably sweet and helpfull. All eight of us would recommend this place.

Gringos has great Mexican food if you fancy a change from the traditional Thai food. We both really enjoyed our meal and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely eat here again.
